  • Richard Whitehead MBE is a British athlete, known best for setting the world records for T42 athletes in the 200m at the London 2012 Paralympics, for athletes with a double amputation in both the full and half marathon. In 2013, he was given an MBE for services to athletics the same year that he launched his fundraising campaign ‘Richard Whitehead Runs Britain’.
This week Aimee and Richard walk a mile and discuss the inclusivity, or lack thereof, of the Paralympics. They discuss able-bodied contribution and what the audience can do to make a difference. Richard also opens up about how he maintains his resilience, his own personal definition of inclusivity, and the legacy he wants to leave behind.
