Runaway is still my jam ❤❤❤
I was 17 when Runaway came out and I couldn't get enough. Id listen to it on a loop. Then Slippery When Wet came out and the whole album was fantastic. I saw them in concert a few times and I was hooked. All I listened to was them for at least 2 years. Just about every song has a meaning to me. They're the best band on the planet with the greatest lead singer ever. Now I'm 57 and I still get butterflies when I listen to them

He can despise those first two albums all he wants but they are actually very good.

The thing is, a number of 80's rock video directors went on to become big time movie directors, like Tarantino and Jan De Bont. Fresh out of film school graduates, more concerned with artsy fartsy than what the song is actually about and there is at least one movie out there about how one of these artsy fartsy directors made life difficult for members of the band (wish I could remember the movie title). .
Ich war noch ziemlich jung, als ich Runaway das erste mal im Radio gehört habe.
Nach meiner 3 Sekunden Regel und meinem 3 Säulen Prinzip ( Bauch, Herz und Hirn) stand eins fest, die Band mag ich, auch wenn ich der Sprache nicht mächtig bin.
Mein Lieblingssender aus Hannover/ Garbsen heißt Radio 21 und der spielt den regelmäßig. Es sei denn, der Hörer wählt ihn raus.
