I really do appreciate the channel, if I wasn't struggling myself I'd definitely show some appreciation, reason I just sit thru the ads for ya. But something that you could do a video on if you haven't already, Potted Transformer
I used these extensively in the early part of my career. It's important to place them on the sides of the pipe so that any sediment does not interrupt the reading. On old and poorly water treated condenser water piping its nearly impossible to get an accurate reading due to pipe degradation. You should do an episode on condenser water treatment. It's has a huge impact on the efficiency and longevity of open loop piping systems.
Always depending upon the application i.e., type of fluid, flow range, and desired grade of accuracy (client's budget!!) Lot of different flowmeter technologies available and much more situations the flowmeters shall be used for
Ultrasonic meters are cheap, easy to install, can be used an my different size pipes, and do not come in contact with process fluids. These are some of the pros.
Do one on electromagnetic flow meters. I was in charge of a project of fitting a small town with about a thousand of Sensus' electromagnetic flow meters. Just about the most accurate flow meters I could find, and they had a warranty that beat out the competition.
We use ultrasonic flow meters to measure the flow rates of Oxygen for Hospitals in the UK since the Pandemic. Before, the manufacturers would keep this data for themselves but now were fitted, hospitals can now see exactly how much they are using at any given time. This allows them to see trends recorded second by second rather than rough calculations with how much used per day and liquid to gas expansion calcs.
I'd like to request a video explaining portable generators for residential temporary back up power. Does neutral have potential to back feed utility power lines? Thanks
Most of the ones I have worked with have a programmable interface. One of the parameters is in fact pipe diameter. This then allows the device to calculate the correct volume of material and thereby flow rate.
The size of the pipe diameter/wall thickness does make a difference, where the flow meter is placed (either before or after a bend/tee) which creates turbulence within the material being measured and even outside factors.
These suck to align because they have to be spot on to read correctly. So it’s a whole lot of moving around the pipe until you read something and then securing the instruments.
But life generates it's own electrical signals to do anything. So I don't think there is. Maybe with piezos, or quartz crystals, I'm not familiar enough with them to say
@@Mix1mum Life does, but they don't use that electricity to produce the sound other than to contract the muscles, which could be done mechanically instead for a human invention.

I work for a water company and have always wondered how these flow meters work. Thank you. 👍🏻
It would be better to explain what type of flow meters should be used under different circumstances. Thanks

Pretty good for a minute though

It is very sad to see that there are less views on great learning videos . I am a 12th grade student and I love your content, Love from INDIA 🇮🇳❤

Plz make a video on SOFT STARTER

Quite a good video.
Can you put video about master and slave please
Can you do a video about how a wind turbine works ? It’s the occupation with the most job growth right now .
Seen our new - How wind turbines work video? link: ruclips.net/video/Hf875eOVrVI/видео.html
What is the best brand of ultrasonic flow meter?
Thank you sir
You may want to change that bit about riv3rs and currents.
How about flow meter digital?
amazing
Do this work on petroleum product too?
Air circuit breaker please
How about gas inside the pump
Turbine flow meters?
Please make subtitles for indonesian
👍👋
Doesn't the size of the pipe make a difference?

Anybody know where I can screenshot a photo of a component to find out what exactly it is? It’s Marked AE LF and came out of a Flir thermal camera
Take a photo of it and search in google lens
@@AnimeSupp I tried that with no luck wondering if it’s a diode or a capacitor?

These things are doo doo for accuracy
Is it possible to make ultrasound without any form of electricity? I know bats and dolphins do it somehow.
