When I was working Top of Staging at New England Dragway about 20yrs ago, this guy had a Pro Mod that was blown on alcohol. All black, early to mid 50's station wagon body that said Mercolet on the front. It was called "Fat, Fendered, and Loooowww" Most EVIL sounding car I ever saw run! He made a Lic pass, all over the lane, on and off the throttle, and STILL ran a mid 7sec pass around 200mph! Sick, sick car. I've seen some wild cars over the years, literally grew up at the drag strip as my dad used to build & race BB/GD's and is a founding Stockholder of the track. I'm a 2nd Gen Stockholder. Miss this style of racing. Got to see the Wild Bunch when they ran though.
The red Chevelle and the 57 Chevy is not a coupe! Ijust watched a video that was titled Fuel Altered's and the snuck in a couple of old style front engine dragsters! they were not Fuel Altered's just like the Chevelle and the 57 Chevy are not coupe's! let's get it right!

All stock styled cars, ARE considered “coupe’s” regardless of the yr. 4 doors are sedans. AA/FA are nitromethane fuel cars.
