Zhezhi has always been my favorite sub dps for good damage and ease of use. Burned about 70 waveplate restore boxes on the Empyrean tacet field before giving up. Couldnt get enough ER so ended up running an ER 3 cost for now. All double crit at least.

Pulled her on initial release. Though it took her a lil’ while to shine, I never regretted it. Now she’s a part of the strongest teams in the game supporting both Jinhsi and Carlotta!
I currently use Zhezhi, Verina, Mortefi, with Zhezhi as the main on field damage dealer. My setup usually starts on Verina, skill->echo->Ult(optional cause it's a slow buildup)->HA, then go to Mortefi, skill->basic->skill->Ult(cause he's usually in a state to do that or if not, a couple basics usually will do) , then to Zhezhi, Hold Skill to summon midair->summon based echo-> Ult->tap skill into some midair basic/heavy attack into plunging attack, repeat skill thing until Mortefi's ult wears out, then repeat the whole thing. Probably not the best any of the characters can do
If you want to main dps zhezhi try her, sanhua and youhu and feed both sanhua and youhu's outro buff to her (First youhu's then sanhua's as her buff last longer and doesn't go off when switching off!)
I'm glad I didn't skip her. I've always wanted my Level 1 Uncle Fedora retired, and it's all thanks to the silly painter. She is definitely worth pulling for.
She’s definitely the best second slot character so far I got her and her weapon on first banner and maxed all her talents, both echos are perfect for different rules and if you farmed the new one then you can save moon set 4&1 costs for different sub DPS or even transfer whole set to sanhua
glad i got her when i did. been using her with Changli cuz of that skill dmg buff and energy regen making my CHangli just so busted. decided to grab her weapon this time around and my god she slaps harder than before (using her now with Carlotta)
Zhezhi is such a monster on how she buffs Carlotta. If Zhezhi is this powerful who is both catered for Jinshi and Carlotta then what more for Roccia? Looking at Midnight Veil and Roccia's kit during the trial in the Rinascita story quest we could see that she is the Zhezhi version for Camellya. Can't wait to see how much she nukes Camellya's whole dps.
@Onigumo. Yup, just like I said in my comment. "She is the Zhezhi version for Camellya." Haven't really seen much leaks for Phoebe and Brant but I only heard that they're Spectro and Fusion respectively. And if Sanhua is buffing Phoebe then I guess she's the 2nd Spectro DPS of the game.
Honestly roccia's pull is the peak reason why im gunning her. Really sad wont be pulling carlotta in her debut (hopefully will at her rerun) but convenience is everything for me, not endgame

The main thing that makes Zhezhi better than Yinlin is that her coordinated attack isnt reliant on having tagged a target before casting it. Also, I end up in no man's land with Yinlin where I dont want to use her coordinated attack on a lower hp mob before a boss but Ive already filled her concerto.
If you don't have her, pull her! I have her at S0 with a Stringmaster and she makes picking up dorito chips in Tower a breeze. My only gripe is I've had to pull that fedora-adorned dork Yuanwu off the bench for Jinhsi now that I got Zhezhi paired with Carlotta 😫

Scar, My Kid Roccia, or Brant are who i'd rather get... I am however LOVING her new set, may look into improving my lingering tunes XLY so I can use it.

Just finished tecc's vod with the call you, Tecc, and pokke had. Imo, looking at this from an unbias and impartial viewpoint, id say you definitely argued better points than Pokke and got the W. Pokke would always pivot, or change up a little bit of what you were trying to say. Like when you asked if Robin's BEST PERFORMANCE was in FART but pokke kept saying "No, her BEST PERFORMANCE is EVERYWHERE" was extremely frustrating because FART IS indeed her BEST PERFORMANCING team. Yes, she performs elsewhere too but her maximum output is in FART compared to others and Pokke, honestly, just didnt want to take the L on that. Then at the end where Tecc asked you how HSR could revive 1.X characters to have relevance... you responded with the HI3 Augment system and explained it to Tecc and pokke for what it is... brother, as a Captain in HI3, you just proved you played HI3 previously and no one can dispute that no more because the Augment system died as fast as it came😂. It literally was tooo good. The Augment system was BEAUTIFUL but HI3 dropped it because they quickly realized we didnt need to pull the newest toys. The last Augmented character we got was Fervent Tempo Delta.. you wanna know how they powercrept FTD?!? They gave us a FREE, grindable Pink Jesus 😂. Lastly, during the end when you told Pokke that starting a fresh f2p acc will be different than the f2p veterans because they already used up the gems. And that he has a stockpile of gems just waiting ...i really dont think that got through his head that he has the advantage over f2p vets that already paid their dues and THAT will definitely inflate his ego more so than it already has.

nahh, i don't think they will release another dps for zhezhi anytime soon. since she already have 2 best dps in the game currently. if you are gonna get Jinhsi then sure, otherwise skip
You already get a 80% DMG bonus for coordinated attacks by the set. Using 1 glacio DMG bonus brings the total up to 110%. Anything labelled “DMG bonus” stacks additively, and has diminishing returns on damage. ATK% is less watered down, and will therefore give you slightly higher damage overall for your second 3 cost. Especially if you have Zhezhi’s weapon, which additionally provides 52% BA DMG bonus off field. Let me know if this makes sense, happy to explain further if it doesn’t.

i have zhezhi, and her weapon, on accident. I dont ahve any of her best in slot DPS so shes just there, i have her built and everything so im just waiting for a character i like that will go well with her.
She's a good sub-dps. I think she's not a must pull if you're a low-spender/f2p. I'd rather wait for shorekeeper rerun to get proper support And, we still don't know what Brant's main damage is. If it's skill damage, then she would pair well with him.
noo, she only needs like 130-140 regen. it's not much and is easily obtainable through sub-stats. if you still can't get enough then you can always change your ond 3-cost from glacio to energy regen
I want her so bad. I lost Carlotta 50/50 but got her 30 pulls later and then went for Zhezhi but lost 50/50 at like 4 or 5 pity to Verina, I really I get her before the banner expires
I did a random pull on her after carlotta and got 5 star in 1 pull, Lost the 50/50. But have a garuntee. I was planning on saving for shorekeeper or some new support units, with a garuntee I could get maybe 3 of them. (Have 120 pulls) Should I just burn the garuntee on her or wait? Im torn. It will give me a hyper team but I feel she isn't very universal and I like more universal characters for sub dps and support for longevity and team flexibility. Im only union 45 so by the time I get to cap I may miss out on new gen supports or subdps. But she's perfect for carlotta. Im so torn
The damage contribution of a sub dps like Zhezhi is relatively negligible for current endgame content given there's a main dps equipped with good echoes and lv 10 for important skills. The 4* weapons that came with 1.3 do the job perfectly well for sub dps, and main DPS get by fine with standard 5* weapons. Hazard tower is being cleared with s0r1 teams in under 60 seconds, and the limited 5* weapons are generally about 15-18% better than the 5* standard banner weapons. Even being generous with the damage increase from limited weapons, clearing 20% slower than 60 seconds is still well within full clear lol. The only limited weapons that approach being mandatory imo are ones with ER, because ER potentially affects rotations; but even then, putting elbow grease into farming echoes alleviates that. There is no "need" for better 4* weapons especially considering the astrite from clearing above 24 doritos is a pretty tiny fraction of the given astrite across a patch. Kuro gives guaranteed weapon banner and people still wanna complain huh. 😅

Fun fact for anyone with bp weapons. There was an material that refined 4* weapons and worked on any 4* weapon including bp weapons

max roll for cd is 255 unles you use 44111 build, you need max roll for 72 crit to all echos

Just failed to Clacharo at 75 pity after scraping all possible currency for her. Guess this time not gonna roll for her and wait it out.
its not a massive difference between the two sets only around like 3%. You can use a 44111 and it just drops another 1% vs a elem/elem or elem/atk.

i have zhezhi, and her weapon, on accident. I dont ahve any of her best in slot DPS so shes just there, i have her built and everything so im just waiting for a character i like that will go well with her.

She's a good sub-dps. I think she's not a must pull if you're a low-spender/f2p. I'd rather wait for shorekeeper rerun to get proper support
And, we still don't know what Brant's main damage is. If it's skill damage, then she would pair well with him.
i wouldn't say so. if you don't have Carlotta then only go for her if you have Jinhsi or you are planning to get Jinhsi next half. otherwise skip

noo, she only needs like 130-140 regen. it's not much and is easily obtainable through sub-stats. if you still can't get enough then you can always change your ond 3-cost from glacio to energy regen

I want her so bad. I lost Carlotta 50/50 but got her 30 pulls later and then went for Zhezhi but lost 50/50 at like 4 or 5 pity to Verina,

Brant has been oficially confirmed as a fusion character, so it's safe to that Zhezhi is better for Carlotta because she boost her Glacio damage

I did a random pull on her after carlotta and got 5 star in 1 pull,
Lost the 50/50.
But have a garuntee. I was planning on saving for shorekeeper or some new support units, with a garuntee I could get maybe 3 of them. (Have 120 pulls)
Should I just burn the garuntee on her or wait?
Im torn. It will give me a hyper team but I feel she isn't very universal and I like more universal characters for sub dps and support for longevity and team flexibility.
Im only union 45 so by the time I get to cap I may miss out on new gen supports or subdps.
But she's perfect for carlotta.

Even guarantee can reach hard pity. (Me lose hard pity 50/50 Carlotta + Hard pity guarantee)
save it for Shorekeeper, you can play Carlotta just fine without Zhezhi and Shorekeeper is a must have!

Kuro need to add a good f2p 4star weapon, we need to pull their signature weapon, everytime it’s like losing 50/50 every time.
The damage contribution of a sub dps like Zhezhi is relatively negligible for current endgame content given there's a main dps equipped with good echoes and lv 10 for important skills. The 4* weapons that came with 1.3 do the job perfectly well for sub dps, and main DPS get by fine with standard 5* weapons. Hazard tower is being cleared with s0r1 teams in under 60 seconds, and the limited 5* weapons are generally about 15-18% better than the 5* standard banner weapons. Even being generous with the damage increase from limited weapons, clearing 20% slower than 60 seconds is still well within full clear lol. The only limited weapons that approach being mandatory imo are ones with ER, because ER potentially affects rotations; but even then, putting elbow grease into farming echoes alleviates that. There is no "need" for better 4* weapons especially considering the astrite from clearing above 24 doritos is a pretty tiny fraction of the given astrite across a patch. Kuro gives guaranteed weapon banner and people still wanna complain huh. 😅
@ You’re coping if you think we don’t need a good 4 star weapon there’s only one good 4 star weapon and that weapon can’t even be used by the rest of the roster, we get a guaranteed weapon banner because Kuro wants us to pull on the weapon banner instead of having a f2p options, we occasionally get braindead people like you that defends a predatory gacha companies, guess what they don’t give a single fvuk about you they only want your money.
