Maybe im biased because this is the first real hip hop album I listened to and the one that got me HEAVILY into the genre, but this is my favorite hip hop album of all time, and I think it’s a PERFECT album to get introduced to the genre. You guys hit the nail on the head when you said Cole’s lyrics are really easy to follow along. Ive always said if I ever were to introduce someone to hip hop, this would probably be the album I go with. Loving the channel!
I remember being in high school in Fayetteville, NC when this album dropped 2014. Had the whole city on fire. Awesome to see you both enjoying it so much.

With certain artists, you can just focus on the sound, but to do Kendrick justice it'd be best to have lyrics and follow what he's saying. Just a suggestion ofc, I enjoy your guys videos regardless

Please react to Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!? by McKinley Dixon. This is not a popular album or artists as he only has around 100 000 monthly listeners but sonically this album is amazing. It’s basically hiphop combined with live jazz instrumentation and it’s only 30 minutes. Definitely worth checking out.
