Great review! Still watching it but did want to mention another champ with a pretty powerful a1: Lord Shazar. 3 hitter instead of 4 and 1.3*atk instead of 1.9, but he gets an additional 15% damage per debuff on the boss. For something like hydra or clan boss, that could end up being a lot depending on your team. His base attack is lower though. Same book damage value. Candraphon has an additional 5% book damage and has a 3*atk on the A1 and places an extra hit if the target has a buff (clan boss self buff for instance). If under veil, he get's 40% additional damage. Those were the two champs off the top of my head.
He seems pretty good. I don't think I'll ever get him but if I do that would be neat. I can't believe you play with music on haha I think you're the only person I know who does.
So, I never really thought about him that much but your discussion of his passive is pretty awesome. I wonder how he'd do in a bateater. I don't think he'd get the enemy max hp skill up that much with the buff strip but it would enable the A1 to go off with more with counter-attack masteries. No way in hell am I going to climb live arena for him (absolutely hate it), but maybe in a year or two after my 3-2 strat fills out some of the live arena bonuses. That's 3 losses/2 wins on the border of silver/gold, so 2 losses in gold for -4 each and one loss in silver for -2 and then 2 wins (first versus a bot in silver after 3 losses) for +5 each. Just have to quit the second the champ select screen loads. Pretty fast way to get through it with at most 2 real battles a day (although some of the bots are definitely kraken accounts) and half the real battles are someone else at 100 doing the same thing who quit immediately.
By the time you get him you won't need him/use him for anything as you will already have more potent alternatives. It's like being rewarded with rare starter champ after you've completed hard DT.
I’m in top 100 and I can say nobody runs him. But u do make a good point for him for PVE content. He hits hard in hydra for sure. According to Drock his A2 doesn’t remove all buffs and the wording is incorrect. Personally I just use Ragash or geogrid over him.
No offense, but I don't think they run him because I think they don't know how to use him properly. They do silly stuff like use him against his counters like stoneskin UDK. Instead of using him to 1 shot taras, harimas, and rotos which is is strength. I use him multiple times a day at rank 200 to fantastic effect.
@@biohackrsl ronda and karato do the same thing better and most people have them, the reason people don't use him isn't because your the only one smart enough to crack the code, he is underwhelming, and there are a lot of easier to obtain champs that are better in hydra and dark fae
@@TheCore01 I will 100% agree that one of the biggest criticisms against him is that fills a very similar role to Ronda. However he has several distinct advantages over ronda that I plan to go over in the upcoming PvP showcase.
@@TheCore01there’s a significant flaw when comparing him with ronda or karato: he’s void while the other 2 are not :))) but at the same time, he’s not as easy to empower compare to them, that’s why he’s rarely used in high-end arena
Wow probably the coolest video I‘ve seen this year. I‘m so impressed. Well done!
Nice stuff ! Those marks are pretty brutal !
was cool to see a pve guide on Quintus, looking forward for the pvp video
I’ve been arguing with them the krakens that they were wrong, and I’m glad someone can show him off properly

True, both of those guys bring very hard hitting A1s. I'd have to run all the match to see in which scenarios they hit harder.

Haha, I definitely don't do that normally. I just do it for the background on the videos.
Wow, so fucking fast, with that much damage as well

That's not true, because I got him and he's now going to be a permanent part of my dark fae and hydra teams.
That's pretty much the reward we get from SR, except you need leggo books instead of rare

I always thought the krakens are doing him dirty. They get him and compare him to the +4, 6 star champs. Just imagine him +4 and fully blessed.
Nobody’s gonna empower him, Baron is way better imo and not worth giving up
Ur Quintus is getting stronger and stronger with each fight😂
Dark Fae => Hydra
