This video probably saved me a TON of money in repairs. My daughter's 2007 developed a pretty bad whine so today I dropped the pan and cleaned that pickup screen and the other one too and the whine is gone. They were pretty plugged up. After I used up a whole can of brake cleaner on the screen, I realized compressed air works really well too - might be a more environment friendly option. It even blows through the screen allowing you to push all the gunk towards the exit hole. Love brake cleaner but that stuff is nasty. Anyway. thank you!
They are like 20 whole dollars to replace... Why risk your transmission on a "cleaned" used filter? you know the way a automatic shifts, it uses Fluid pressure, messing with the filter is likely to cause more failures down the line. Just replace it.

I have a 2010 Nissan versa with 160k miles on it and transmission still shifts like a dream. I won't open the transmission and mess up with it. I have been draining transmission fluid and refilling with the original Nissan transmission fluid every 35-40K miles.
This will help when i change my filter. Since ive owned the car ive replaced the oil twice with valvoline max life atf and a bottle of lucas transmission conditioner
the tranny fluid and belt are very touchy. the fluid can break down faster when cleaning parts with other chemicals. It's recommended to just change the filters not clean them.

Hello, drained, cleaned the filter and filled with a new fluid but car looks is on the limp mode, stuck on 1st gear and on 3000 rpm? Any idea? How i can reset or bypass limp mode?

we always use brake cleaner in cleaning transmission parts cuz it evaporates fast i dont know where do you get that idea that brake cleaner is bad in cleaning inner part of transmission as a matter of fact at school at the dealer at the shop we always spray brake cleaner on those parts
sa may dipstick my cool at warm level sya maglagay ka ng fluid between cool at warm start the car ng 5mins check mo ung level it should be on warm level otherwise add fluid

please use ns2 transmission fluid if ur transmission is cvt or ur vars is an SL

8ft lbs but thats too loose hand tight will just snug and i guarantee u ur filter will be ok

2015 Versa note drive fine but has transmission noise. Do you think changing the filters would stop the noise?

i thought with the CVT tranny's, one was not to use break cleaner to clean any part of the pan? The outer part okay but not inner part
