I think Line 6 got it right with the Spider II. Its not as harsh and sterile sounding as the Spider III and so on. From Spider III to IV the amp sounded too harsh and sterile and way too much distortion and no tone.
Very nice playing brotha!! I just picked up a Spider II and was wondering which foot pedal you are using in this vid. Again, awesome playing. You're really making that Tele sing!
You've got that twang channel nailed. Clearly a tele deveotee. I could be wrong but It looked a bit like you almost reached for a whammy bar to grab at the close of the solo lead with delay section. Quite Eric Johnson like riffing in places. Do you play a strat too? GReat playing and a good demo of the amp. I saw one today in a pawnstore for £39. Seemed like a steal. I was a big 2 speaker job and I'm seriously tempted. PM me if you think that's a good deal. Looks pretty amazing value to me but I don't know how much the game has moved on. I've been using the same Marshall valvestate 20w practice amp for about 25 years... :-) I used some of the amazing cubase plugins for ableton etc with a really low latency sound card for a few years and that sounded amazing but I miss just being able to plug in on a whim instantly and just play. The computer was a faff to get going. I need an amp and fx combo that's instant. Your opinion would be valued. Peace and Luv.
LOL I always reach for wammy bar Im a strat player . this i a good amp for practice at home but waaaay to heavy if I was you ill keep the marshal and some pedal or if you want something cool small and easy to used check Yamaha THR10 I got one of those I play that most than anything else. Cheers
how does this compare to a fender frontman 212r? i have a spider 2 212, i would like a propper fender reverby clean splendor, was thinking of getting a greta for a preamp? or maybe just buying a fender amp
It is, you can get every tone out of this, but buy the HD150 with a Bugera cab or a Zilla. You can't go wrong with this. Only issue is that the damn thing needs cooling, overheating is dangerous.
Future Classic amp, I have one, with a footswitch, with own settings is very rich. Good work! 2021 even!
Man U are the neighbour I wish I had beers and some blues would be awesome great jamming my friend.

What are your tone knobs dialed in at? I cant figure out a sweet spot for metal.
Hey man nice work, whats the first piece you play is it a song
can you play using the clean setting
What type of microphone do you use? I'm planning on recording some covers.
I used a lavalier mic direct to DSLR..

Is this powerful enough to power a 4x10 Crate Bass cab?
It should but dont take my word for it u r going have to test it yourself.
Cool, I am looking at buying a used Line 6 spider 2 for $140. Looks like a good deal after seeing your video. Great playing by the way!
Thx
Just got the Spider II 210 today, can you share your settings?
Sorry man I sold the amp 2 yeas ago I dont remember . congrats on the new amp!

Well the effects are from the amp but no external effects added on the video
