Hiphop and punk have co-existed for my entire life at least. I’m 32.. I grew up listening to 2mex and nofx at the same times.. lagwagon and gangstarr.. the 90s where I grew up, in Orange County SoCal, skating, punk, hiphop, graffiti all kicked it in the same scene. It was really an incredible time to be alive and music hasn’t been the same since. Love to see shit like this. Ceschi is a homie I’ve been an acquaintance and a fan of his for decades. Lagwagon was the band that got me into fat wreck as a kid back then. My uncle Byron drums for pennywise and his label epitaph signed one of my favorite rappers of all time, sage Francis. I think certain hiphop and punk rock is just an absolute perfect fit together.
