heeeyyy i was just watching your dualshock 4 joystick video and now i found this dualsense one! hell yeah, im 17 and still in school but i really want to get into modding controllers
@jack_5344 Hey man, that's dope as fuck If your starting with modding controllers I suggest you join one of my good friends discord servers. He has a RUclips channel with a good amount of subs, his name is marius heier, and a lot of the people in the modding channel on his server can definitely give you some tips and insight. And even some actual things like custom sticks, shells, etc. From connecting. Obviously, a lot goes into it and getting more newcomers can definitely help with making certain components or mods for the people.
I cringe whenever I see soldering projects done on a mouse pad or on a wooden table. You can get a decent soldering mat instead. I know it is a cheap Ben Q mouse pad or wooden table but it is not the right material when dealing with hot material. Fire hazard. Why not use Gullikit TMR Hall Effect? Once and for all not opening the dualshock controller FOREVER!!! I did mine and it was a pain desoldering all the 14 pins x2 using semi automatic desoldering pump putting in Gullikit TMR Hall Effect joystick but I told myself it will done this once only. Kudos on the video.
@kklum6998 I'm not even gonna argue against this. Soldering on a wooden table is 1000% dumb as hell. But fuck it if I die, I die 😂 And as for gullikit hall effects, I'm yet to try it. Someone in my previous video actually commented on them, but I'll have to test them out. The reason I don't use hall effects is because when I first tried the trash aliexpress ones out "GINFAQS" (year ago), they were extremely inconsistent in-game and had very low life expectancy regarding the L3s and R3s. And well now.. I've heard and seen from some of my friends that a lot of them are improving. But then again, alot of the people I've talked with and seen that are experts on the subject of hall effects in Marius's server. Have said that the gullikit actually corrodes over time for some odd reason, which obviously..y'know. But I'll have to do my own research and experimenation on the matter soon. Thanks for watching ✌️ And for the desoldering of sticks...I've done it so many times I can barely count. Another session is just practice to me. I'm always trying to get better at it.
nice content I like the long form video type. subbed
@@CarlosRios-s9p thank you. At least someone understands 😁
