I absolutely will keep you posted!! I have nothing but positive observations this far! I have used it several more days, and it has exceeded in every way. The one thing I have heard from folks that have the non-pro version is that you can almost get 2 of those for the price of 1 Pro model. The color consistency and recycle times are both MUCH better on the Pro, but for hobbyists or folks working on a tighter budget, there's a good argument for getting two AD600's instead of one AD600Pro. Godox really has done a magnificent job!
Every comparison I have seen from the AD600 to the Pro seemed to say a lot of the same things. Better color consistency, much better light stand mount, and the protector/reflector is super cool. I know this is definitely one heck of a light.
Nice review Mark! Please keep us posted on your long term impressions. The specs are quite tempting.

Great review Mark! Can't wait to see what you produce with the light.
Thanks, Stanley, Same here!!! My new beauty dish from Fotodiox just showed up today - so some images will follow very soon!!
I'd love to try one - I have the old AD600 and it's great. Thanks for the review!

Great first review, thanks.
Thanks so much, James!!
Mark, did the unit come with the handle or did you order that separately?
My review copy came with the handle, but from reading literature, I don’t think that’s normal. I think in general the handle is an optional add-on.
Hey John, I just hear back from Godox, and they are going to be including the handle on future shipments of the AD600PRO!
Tanks for letting me know Mark!
