I found a used B2 ballhead from a online dealer, this looks promising. I will try it out. Will it work well wit Peak design mount?
I don’t think so. What I saw of the peak design didn’t lend itself to a traditional ball head. That being said, it was many years ago, and I could definitely be mistaken.
@@mmorris8 I already have peak designs universal head adapter. So can install any ball head. My question was regarding the tolerances of the arcaswiss clamp, I know Peak Designs should be compatible with arcaswiss, but I've not seen or hear anyone say of it fit this one. I'm just being cautious in case tolernaces are odd between them. This ball head is just so cheap. But as usual I might be over thinking it.
the sync high speed doesn't appear when i push the button severals seconds
Thanks brother!! You saved my life...lol...using this trigger for a while with my sb910 off camera.....inside...never more than my max speed 1/250...now tried outside ambiente light, needed a fast SS like 1/1000...no go...lol...wrll you just showed how to set High speed sync on this Godox trigger with one button push...lol thanks!!!😅🎉❤
Thank you. HSS comes at 1:56. It was useful. Yes you are right. Instead of sync, they should have written HSS.
way to not talk about the ball head at all
Thank you for the great video! One issue I am having the Sync Button is just gray. No HSS access. I have a xpro II Leica. It says it has HSS but cannot access it. Thank you in advance!
thank you!
Perfect! That is exactly what I needed to learn about. Question is though... what SS do I set the camera to? Will the native mechanical shutter 1/250 capture it?
Thank you ❤❤
PERFECT to the point. I was struggling getting my high speed to enable on my XProN trigger, and with my Godox AD200 Pros...this is perfecto! Thank you so much for your video.
2023, and your still saving lives. Thanks so much!
Hi Mark, nice video. Is there any advantage to having the bowl if you’re only shooting stills?
I've just bought one of these heads to replace a Benro B1 on a 1-series mountaineer. The Gitzo is rather taller than the Benro and a bit heavier. The Gitzo seems to need more force to get it moving, than to keep it moving whereas the Benro needs about the same force to start moving and maintain movement. The result is the Benro is much easier to make small adjustments important for macro whereas the Gitzo is rather jerky, the Tungsten Disulfide coating doesn't seem to be doing what is claimed. The pan movement is seemless on the Benro whereas the Gitzo has a degree of loose movement before more controlled. Both these effects are independant of the friction setting though clearly the tighter the friction the more force required to move it. Both heads seem quite capable of holding my unbalanced macro setup at funny angles. The Benro is several years old now and has been used in all weathers, the Gitzo was second hand and appears completely unused. Even s/h the Gitzo was three time the price of the new Benro. Not field tested it yet but guess what... The Benro is back on the tripod
They do make a snap on leather carry strap that balances the bag when carried with it (if you clip in towards the front of the straps, not the back) and can act to secure the bag on a luggage cart like a pass through does. I think Ona suggests that handle as more of a quick grab handle, lifting it from the floor to a table or desk, pulling from an overhead on a plane, etc...but do not suggest carrying the bag with it long term.
Hi Mark, is it possible to adjust the lock lever so that it is in the unlocked position when it faces up? Like an adjustable ratcheting type of lever?
This video is Great !
Can this be taken on a plane as cabin luggage?
Absolutely. The norm for carryon limits is around 27" x 21" x 14" and the Photocross 15 is well under that, at 17.5" x 10.6" x 5.5". You should have no difficulty with that bag as a carry-on item.
@@markcmorris Thank you Mark😀
Thank you. out of that rabbit hole
Glad to help
Thank you soooooo much, I love your explanation and God bless you!!!!
You are so welcome!
Would this work well and hold a Nikon D7500 with a 200-500 lens???How well will the friction knobs hold every thing at an angle????
Well it seems that you did not use 1/320 of speed and ttl at the same time, because there is a big Big issue that godox, for what I know, dit not resolve yet, with my old 5d2 and this trigger everything in ttl and hss works well, with cankn r5 nothing works. Thers a bug. I though this video could explain me a solution.. Instead not.
My ability to anticipate specific bugs on a given camera body at a specific shutter speed in a specific use case has clearly failed you. Lol… I will accept your remonstration with all of the merit it deserves.
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Can the xpro sync work on a non hss flash and still get hss high shutter speed?
I’ve been looking at bags for about a week. It’s been driving me crazy. That is the one and you influenced that choice. Thank you
Glad I could help!
Hey you are a great teacher. I like your pace and how you do not miss anything. Great job.
I appreciate that!
IB2 its 200 euros in spain :/
Thanks! Nice video! Cheers.
Thank you! Cheers!
This is awesome. Thank you so much.
You're very welcome!
I just bought a CP30 at the end of 2021. That tripod has changed a lot. The one I bought is just as tall at 68 inches but has no center column. I’m really impressed with the quality.
They just keep getting better, and the prices are better, too!
Too late for the work shop 😂 great knowledge I love it, Easy and straight to the point.
Great video and easy to follow many thanks
Hi mark.. I'm having problem with syncing x2t trigger with ad200pro.. I tried with same channel, and same group but it's not working.. Can u plz tell the solution
Hi! Could I use a godox x1t and godox ad300pro for HSS? Thanks
Thank you for making things simple ♥️
I am thinking to buy FGP28A (Aluminium) since both are the same design and functionality except the material used. Any suggestion on Benro GX25 ball head?. Cause I am buying them together. My concern is, is it sturdy enough to hold Nikon Z6ii + 24-70MM lense in horizontal setup?. For the horizontal setup, I observe that the weight of the camera will not be in the centre of the tripod, so I am assuming that the weight of the camera might damage the centre column holder and break sometimes, not sure how sturdy it is (is it made up of plastic or metal). Hope it should not damage the tripod mount/locking system. Any kind of information if you share is really helpful to decide. Thanks Shashi
I have this ring light and the ring light will not stay on the stand and the more I twist the more it strips the silver piece on the stand
I got one of this tripods and in less than a year its falling a part and very hard to find the parts . some screws got lost wile tracking with the tripod and my camera and the Shims inside the legs broke in 3 pieces for separating the legs to use as a monopods.....
Oh my goodness!!!! Thank you, I’ve been needing a quick fast answer!
You are so welcome!
Thank God! Finally the answer I needed and not some photographer talking about the “material” or “durability”. Thank you so much.
It’s a shame he stopped posting. I always got the best information from here. R.I.P.
Sorry it has been a while since I posted, but I’ll be back very soon! What topics do you want covered?
exactly what I was looking for. thank you!
I bought this tripod and ball head but ended up swapping to the screw-knob model. I felt it unnecessarily requires too much force to secure/release the camera and, as you mentioned, there is no lock on it. I am much more comfortable with the trusty screw-knob that I have always used. What I love about this set is the BH40 sits perfectly on top of the tripod mount, matching in diameter. The Gitzo tripod mount is too wide for this ballhead - not a functional problem but doesn't look that good.
Txs
I know this is an older review but I'm looking at this bag. You didn't mention what size it is, 10 or 20? That is probably the most important question viewers would have on this bag.
This is the 10, I believe.
😂 literally scrolled the comments to see if anyone else had asked the same question. 😅
I really enjoyed listening to you explain things, and breaking them down in a very simple way. Subbed!
Finally a good quick answer. Didn't know about the tcm part.
Sir I’m having some problem usin x2t tcm I read I must set ID to 99 but nothing else, if you could give me some instructions I would appreciate :)
Thank you sir! Exactly what I was after 👍
This is such a useful feature on the Godox. Thank you.
what is that metal piece that sits right below the airhed? is it a indication where to put the leg? or put some strings to weigh it down? if so why is it detachable and have many holes to screw on.
