I was really impressed with the inventory at this Minnetonka, Minnesota Goodwill store. Quality items and a really nice clean store. Also the same employees are still there that have been there for years. That says a lot! Have you been in a nicer Goodwill in Minnesota? I’d love to know 💕
Minnetonka use to be my favorite GW. I do frequent it still, but I am preferring smaller thrift shops, these days. There is a great one on 101 and 7, near the Cub, across the street from the Target. The name escapes me. I do like the Plymouth GW, and Chaska GW.
Donated, used stuff should not be overpriced.I believe they will eventually price themselves out of business. Some stores have closed because of lack of business and that’s because of high prices.
@@marymcghee3023 - Could not agree with you more! I’ve also done videos about the items that end up at the Goodwill outlets. With the high priced Goodwill tags still on them. It’s a terrible business model for everyone involved.

I don’t know if you follow Lavender Clothesline but she also looks for glass babies. She said in her last video that it will say glass baby on the bottom. You may need to zoom in on them because it’s tiny. Love your videos!

Absolutely the donations are shifted. I believe it’s based on weekly color transition. This is based on lower Fairfield County, CT. This County is the wealthiest part of CT and part of the tristate area - CT, NYC and NJ.
@@jayleigh_bee - I’ve actually gotten in “trouble” by a worker at one store - for going though the racks 🤣 They told me it wasn’t allowed and to wait until the items are on the shelf.

Minnetanka looks good, but looks really small. I worked right off Hopkins Crossroads in Plymouth, but moved to Arizona years ago. The Goodwill here had 6.00 on dollar tree vases 😆 pathetic.
@ lol… I’ve seen that happen over and over ! I don’t know why stores sell the pieces separately!?! It makes no sense. So someone can buy a wise guy and a Jesus… and the other pieces become landfill junk. Sad!

I used to like that goodwill. My new favorite is the one in Plymouth
A great place to find donated items is at Arc Value Village in Golden Valley, off of Winnetka. We’ve found many hidden gems there.

I love it there! Our daughters have found high-end designer jeans for so much less. I have found beautiful decor and other pieces to enjoy.

That is a very expensive GW. I thought my store was getting too expensive but wow. Our books are .69 for soft covers and 1.29 for hardbacks.

Glassy Babies have their mark on the bottom. I have also not seen them multi colored, they are usually solid.

I've been to that location a long time ago and it was pretty high priced back then. It was pretty crowded and the rows were super tight too.
I haven’t been to this location for awhile. I may have to check it out again.
I think the Rochester Goodwill has you beat. But I agree the prices are so ridiculous. I have quit going there.
