Don’t listen to the label snobs. As long as you like it then fine. You are not buying it for them. Those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
I have the same car (but in pearl white) for 2024. Love it. I'm not nearly as an aggressive driver as this guy though. I don't use any of the features except blind spot detect. I got the tech package only for that reason. Radio? I don't use that either thus speaker volume really doesn't much matter to me because although I'm now 81 there's nothing amiss with my ears (probably because I've always protected them). Even this base model has a lotta stuff that the thing tells you about. The speed limit, up coming curves, vehicle in front of you pulling away, stuff like that. But by far the most important thing for me is blind spot detect especially when using directionals. There's no excuse for committing an illegal lane change in this vehicle it has you covered (as long as you know what that stick is actually for). The signal is also loud enough to be picked up by my dashcam which is a huge plus.
I'm looking for a slightly used first car for my 16 yr old grandson. The one I'm looking at has blind spot/RCTA but does it have what is referred to as RAB, or Rear Automatic Braking....where if it detects something you might back up into, it will actually stop before hitting it?
I own a 2023 Soul and a Mercedes C63S and actually drive the Soul more it can get to places where my mercedes would struggle. Practical wins every time
I loved the design of the rear end design of the older KIA version. Then unfortunately they changed it. BUT, the 2023 model reverted to the basic original design which I snapped up, after totaling my beloved Cube.
Nice review, but at the end you said if you buy a slightly used one, you get the 5 yr/60K warranty on the electronics...but actually it is the whole car, what is often referred to as bumper-to-bumper (except for normally wearing items)...so it included the powertrain. I wonder if Kia is bad on repairing the powertrain within that 5 yr/60K if you don't have what you talked about, the perfect maintenance records. Can anyone comment on that if you've had engine/transmission work done under the 5 yr/60K timeframe?
The powertrain is covered under the 5 year/60k warranty, but again if it you can prove all of the factory maintenance was done on time your warranty claim will be denied.
I would like the clock to be LARGE, and front and center. I have a Cadmium Orange 2033 KIA. It makes me smile. I bought it on the spot. I would change the clock. Maybe a Cooper Mini round clock with colors. YES ! 9:53

Mines makes me Happy too.😊😊😊😊
200$ a month to lease I saw the commercial. Not for me, but for a small new car, I don't see anything wrong with it.
Would you buy kia soul or nissan kicks
Between those two I would prefer the Soul
I traded my 2010 RAV4 for Kia Soul 2023 LX 😊. First thing which I noticed was I am driving more than filling gas 😂

Correction…..that’s 2023. Doubt we’ll be here 2033
It's only ten years we'll probably still be here...
I want a car that lasts at least 20 years with no costly maintenance.
Some Kia dealers in the US will give you 20 yrs/200K miles on the powertrain. There's a good size deductible I would imagine but still....
