This is the GT which comes pretty loaded. I think it has a sunroof which are bad news I would not have one of those (they leak). I believe its the only trim line for 2024 that you can get LED lighting as well. I have the LX with the tech package for 2024 the GT is too rich for my blood and I don't like the red interior accents. In fact I hate red anywhere on any vehicle. Yep just give me plain old white that works for me because I live in FL and this state will absolutely beat the hell atta any other color if the vehicle is not garaged. The only "safety" feature I need is blind side detect because of the tiny mirrors. I don't need ANYTHING else because I'm old school and therefore actually know how to DRIVE! Adaptive cruise. lane keep, I mean how lazy can a driver get? If I'm driving in an adaptive cruise environment I don't need cruise at all there.
Moon (sun) roofs leak. I wouldn't have one myself my brother lost a paid off toyota camry to that. Leaked which totaled the wire harness due to corrosion that he had NO clue about because the leak was behind the scenes. Insurance totaled the vehicle.
@leecowell8165 uhhh, they don't if you build them right. Excuse my language, but Toyota built a shitty moonroof on the 8th gen camrys. I'm in a camry group on Facebook, and I've seen plenty of camrys with crappy moonroofs and sunshades. But guess what? That's the only Toyota I see with that issue, I see no Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, or Nissan owners with that issue. Korean car owners aren't having that issue either. Please don't project that issue onto all panoramic moonroofs, and I'm saying this with the utmost respect. My 2016 Optima has a panoramic moonroof with 201k miles on it, and it never leaked, and I don't see others having that issue either. Toyota just gave the camry a bad moonroof design, and it seems the same for the 9th gen .
IMO the new Trax for 2024 destroys this, especially since Kia has decontented the Soul in the US giving it poopy taillights and headlights in most trims.
@@B9M3 All the manufacturers are going to 3-cylinder turbos now. Even Nissan with their new super advanced variable compression ratio engine are 3-bangers. On the plus side, a 3-cylinder turbo sounds like a deeper V6 on acceleration and much better than a naturally aspirated 4-cylinder.
I've noticed that people either love this vehicle or they hate it. Doesn't appear to be a middle ground opinion. Anyhow I own the 2024 LX trim in white with the tech package and I love it.
It looks like it's the US version of Kia Soul, here in Canada it's way better and way more equipped and quality is way way better than the US version. I realized the US version is just made with less quality and less features
I think this a cool little vehicle definitely wouldn’t want to drive it daily but to have one to run short errands in or maybe short trips it could not be my only car for sure but it’s cool to me still

@@DailyMotor you guys have a whole channel dedicated to car speakers?! that's so clutch and underrated. If possible, what cars/trims would you say have the best speakers between the $25-30K mark? Maybe even a little above that if it's worth it
I don't need speakers in my vehicle because I don't listen to media while driving. Never have. I even tried to order my 2000 F350 without a radio but it didn't come without one even under special order. But I never once turned the thing on in 24 years of driving it.
@@jermainec2462 yeah its not a bad layout interior wise. I'm not a fan of the exterior looks or that it has a CVT. But if you're only looking for cheap transportation - you could do a lot worse.

The new Trax is nice package except the engine. A Chevrolet with a 3-cylinder turbo...what could possibly go wrong with that?

Take your average customer and have them maintain a turbo. We'll see a bunch in the shop in a year.

I just bought a brand new Kia Sould (2023) Base line. And I am totally satisfied with it.
I'm a Honda guy. However, I just got a 2023 GT Line. I love it, too. Excellent Value!
The seltos is NOT cheaper or smaller. I own both a kia soul and a new kia seltos. I love the Seltos.
