Kom ravnen, kom runer Fri min sjel i skjebnestreet Glødende runer risset i meg Hvisk til meg deres visdom Come Raven, come runes Free my soul in the tree of fate Glowing runes carved into me Whisper to me their wisdom One of the most beautiful and powerful songs I've ever heard. Skål!
Kom ravnen, kom runer Fri min sjel i skjebnestreet Glødende runer risset i meg Hvisk til meg deres visdom Come Raven, come runes Free my soul in the tree of fate Glowing runes carved into me Whisper to me their wisdom I know this is late but here you go!
Ive had this song on repeat. From the first moment I heard it, it sang to my soul. I saw myself singing to Gaia, to all those who have gone before me, those who are singing with me in spirit. I felt my ancestors, I seen the ravens. I danced, moving almost wildly. Shaking away the debris that has clung to me for far too long, letting my inner goddess shine as bright as the moon is full this night. With each beat, I see myself: fierce, empowered. No longer weighed down by the shackles of fear, ready to face any demons I have left to slay. Isolation has made me weary but this song reminded me that Im connected to so much more... I just have to keep dancing and sing my truths. Deep breath... the dawn is coming. I am so utterly grateful for this song. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!💕💕💕
JAW harps were ubiquitous across several dozen proto cultures. Not just judaic. Including Scandinavian. The chanting is very much Scandic too and is in line with attestations surrounding what we know about the Völva. Native American culture isn't the only one with chanting ;)
Kom ravnen, kom runer
Fri min sjel i skjebnestreet
Glødende runer risset i meg
Hvisk til meg deres visdom
Come Raven, come runes
Free my soul in the tree of fate
Glowing runes carved into me
Whisper to me their wisdom

I was dancing to this music. That was so exciting and emotional...
It caused me to just start dancing too! It definitely felt both exciting and emotional!!
Anyone know the lyrics to this song?
Zach Ladue I’ve got Ørnedans’ if you’d like them. I’ve been looking for lyrics for this one but I couldn’t find them.
She said she didn't include the lyrics because we just should connect to the music, feel it.

Because everyone knows Jews harp and Native American-style chanting make it sound more authentically Scandinavian. ;)
Please, i want to know more about this. More than a witty comment, enlighten us.
