Where is the fail?? M4s, m16s and ar platforms all do the same thing when you strike the butt stock upon a hard surface while the bolt is locked back to the rear with no magazine inserted. It provides just enough force to relieve the tension on the bolt catch/release which will send the bolt home...I'm assuming this is the same scenario. It's not a malfunction
Not mortaring. Mortaring is for removing a stuck case. BCG has to be forward, and hope the extractor bites enough, so when you slam it, the rearward motion will extract. The BCG acts like a dead blow. If that fails, then lock back to rear, and use cleaning rods. Slamming a BCG forward, like in this clip, will only stick the stuck case even more sticker. That’s not gooder at all.
This isn't a fair. That happens to every ar platform. The bolt carrier group releases some of the pressure it is putting on the bolt catch and so the bolt catch disengages.
There is no fail. The bolt carrier group moves downwards on the principle of inertia due to the impact. In the meantime, the bolt catch is released and returns from the lock position to the normal (unlock) position in this way. As the lock is opened, the bolt carrier group is released and move forward to the barrel. This is the same thing with pulling and releasing the charging handle when there is no magazine.
We had a drill with the m4 we take the butt off rack the handle then hit the buffer tube into the chest/shoulder hard enough so that the bolt releases so yea it hurts but it works.
So does every ar platform...it's the way it's made. When I was a weapons technician, we used to demonstrate this with m4s carbines too....we made it look like a trick.
Where is the fail? The hard rubber butt reduces vibrations and increases accuracy. After all, you can hit any Coke bottle at a distance of 400m even without a scope.
Yeah, contrary to popular belief they are trash, you are lucky the stock didn't break off... My company alone had 5 broken stocks, about a dozen broken charging handles and a bunch of shattered mags and that's just 100-ish guys.

@@mnk9073 Before you make such bold statments maybe you should inform yourself. We get old and used rifles. Do you really think the army is investing every year for 12000 new rifles for each recruit? If a rifle is worn it gets repaired by the gunsmith. If you're lucky, you'll get a rifle with a brand new barrel while the rest is still old like the gas tube, spring and so on. @CavTrooper19Dit's not an open bolt rifle, of course not.
That happens to every ar platform
Thats not ar plastic shit.
Technically seen is the SIG 550 more related to the AK family.

Why did you say anything at all
They sure are amazing rifles.

More of a feature than a fail imo
Wait till he finds out how much metal shit whips around when you shoot
No fail in there.
Das ist kein fail - es hat sich kein Schuss gelöst- nur der verschluss ist zu - zu 99% bei allen.
😅Boohoo for your troubles - you've got a high quality Swiss rifle right there!😊
Is the fail the bolt bounce? That’s the only thing I can see that is an issue.
happens to ninety-nine percent of ARS you guys stupidity is amazing
And The rest of 1% is because the impact at the bottom is not huge enough.
we always used this effect for reloading
Bro is scared of the word inertia
If you want to demonstrate this 'failure' make sure the chamber is empty unless one wants a bullet wound in the chin!😅😅😊
this is not a fail it is how we load it in the swiss army ..lol lol
This isn't a fair. That happens to every ar platform. The bolt carrier group releases some of the pressure it is putting on the bolt catch and so the bolt catch disengages.
It is because the BCG bounced back because of the impact.

Pro Tip: You can even load it that way if you smack it hard enough that is.
No fail, most carbines/rifles do that when you mortar them. Have fun zeroing that scope again.
I really admire the shoe.

Именно.
