But still if you only took 3 months with Minox then that's rather quick to get a full beard, so maybe it worked for you. Actually very few men can grow next to nothing let alone it looks really bad, most men can grow decent facial hair but it just takes a while to grow, it's like going from bald to a full head of hair, that's not gonna come about in two weeks and neither is a full beard for most men

On the flip side i also had some hair recession in that time so be careful what you wish for.
My dad's 42 he's always been proud of his goatee, he can't grow hair on his cheeks so he did the best with what he got. It got 5 inches long. Around 3 years ago I began growing my beard and my beard covers my entire lower part of my face and is a bright vibrant red/orange. (I'm 17 now, yes my beard started growing when I was 14) He got jealous and complained to his co-workers that his own son has a bigger beard than he could ever get. His beard is also losing it's vibrant red and turning grey so he's a little sad about that.
Your dad can grow a beard if he wants to. There are products out there to help, and it doesn't cost a fortune either. I could only grow a goatee that didn't even connect all my adulthood until 2 years ago, and now I can grow a full beard. I'm 39 btw
Yeah two weeks is pretty short. My beard will be pretty signfificant at that point. But it's not 6 centimeters below my chin god damn. Growing that kind of full beard can take 1-2 years or more.

It's important for anyone who wants to grow one to know that there's always an awkward stage for the first few months, and your beard growth still has time to develop up until your 30s. So if you're in early adulthood and can't grow one too well, there's a chance you might be able to try again with much better success a few years from now. Stick through the awkward period though. If you have some patches, especially the ones I do which seem common which are on the sides of my goatee, you can comb over them pretty well after your beard is a decent length, it's just a waiting game.
True, mine didn't start developing until I turned 28 which was a year ago and Its still filling out to this day. Before then I couldn't grow a beard on the sides of my face. I was always stuck with a goatee situation.

You don't have a crappy beard and you've got a real strong moustache. 2 weeks isn't long, give it a few months. Kevin's beard is many months maybe even years old.
Exactly, my beard took a few months to grow, and it took about a year and a half for the mustache and beard to connect, as the follicles in that part of my face are weakest. However, now I have a very full beard, and I've never been clean-shaven since. Going on 7 years, baby!
I have a long beard and already started shaving at 12 years old, and when I'm fully shaved a little more than a month is enough for me to grow a beard like Kevin's.
Dude you just have to wait. The first 2-3 months are going to be brutal because you’re probably going to look like a guy who doesn’t belong within 30 feet of a school. But once you get passed that your facial hair will be as grown in spots as it can be so it gives you a sense of what you’re working with. Just grow it out for 2-3 months and I guarantee you’ll be glad you did.
I totally agree. Two weeks is nowhere enough to draw any conclusions. I look about the same two weeks after shaving. It takes me more like two months to develop a decent beard.
@@newenglandgreenman Lol, not even 3 months for me because of the light colour but yes, time takes care of that. Plus today most men reach full facial follicular maturity around their mid thirties, so there’s hope out there lads.

The woman I believe is correct, some people just don’t grow like others and it is what it is. It’s easy for other guys to say “it takes time” when they are not growing pubic hair on there face!

Im currently 18, if we look at my family genetics alone, all the men in my family had 'some type' of goatee and/or beard starting to really set in around 17 to 19, granted, both my father and grandpa dont have full beards, my dad sports a sort of extended goated because he cant grow side burns for SHIT, and grandpa has kind of like a Low Rider style, but slightly shorter, because he cant grow hair any higher on his cheeks... I myself, didnt even have the need to shave my moustache until I was around 15, 16, which is kinda late compared to the rest of the men in my country...as I am right now, I have an 'okay' moustache, like, its in that in-between stage of darker than peach fuzz, but still a little lighter than a full stache', my soul patch started coming in about a year ago, that has also gotten darker with time, but it kinda looks more like I got a coal stain under my lip than actual hair😂😅, I have soooome hairs in the higher side-burn area that started coming in, I'd say about 6 or 7 months ago, and around the same time also started the growth of my chin hair, but its been very slow, there is a dark hair or two, but besides that you could AT BEST call it "long peach fuzz"😂🙏, but yea, I would love to see some more progression, its been very slow, and I dont wanna play the waiting game till' im 35, cuz chances are, based on my genetics, that im not gonna have a full beard anyway lol
Good. There are so many scams. This one is actually honest for once. If you can't grow a beard, you can't throw money at it. Just learn to live with it, and don't get taken advantage of because of your insecurities.
If I had that amount of coverage after 2 weeks I would be really happy! A beard takes a minimum of 3 months to mature to ensure all hair follicles has gone through their growth phases.

Tbh that guy who tried to grow a beard and can’t because he doesn’t let it grow enough. A beard could take between 15 weeks and 20 weeks to be huge, obviously not 2 weeks. The other ginger guy with a beard took probably 15 weeks to grow that
It's pretty obvious where it will grow. While I have decent hair under my chin (though still not thick), I have almost none in my sideburns area. I'll never get a full beard no matter how long I wait. I don't even want a beard (how do people even stand the itchiness, I hate the itchiness), but I would like to have sideburns, but that's where I have the least growth. edit: as for the comment right above me, 20 is far too young, you'll get much more hair growth in your 40's than you will at 20.
I was that guy who was already having to shave all that peach fuzz in 7th grade. When in the military, I couldn't get away with shaving every other day like some of my buds.
I’m 30yrs old and I’ve never grown a beard, nor do I want to. The Military got me use to shaving everyday, so I do. But honestly, I don’t feel the guy gave it enough time. A beard takes a while to grow.
not really. most of the hair is done growing after the first 2 weeks or so. After that if you still don't have connectors or cheek hair then it's not going to suddenly grow and become nice and dense
Guys it also depends upon your hormones. If your testosterone is high its effects wud be more facial hair and also muscular growth. And those who have less testosterone but still have a beard their genetics play a role in it. So you can actually grow some more facial hair by working out and most importantly improving your lifestyle.
JUST AN EAST ASIAN PASSING THROUGH. I can’t even grow any facial hair on the sides of my cheeks but I have facial hair below my chin and even then I’m already considered above average for males of East Asian descent lmao
Stop eating food full of phytoestrogen, like beans! I hear that's very popular in Eastern Asia, and though there is a lot more research to be done on phyto- and xenoestrogens (the latter is found in processed foods and hygiene products), I'd advice to avoid them if you're a man. There are also several ways to increase your GH levels. Do some research, and only trust conclusions from peer-reviewed studies!

Lol, xD just a normal mongolian passing by. Can't even be bothered to grow beard. It doesn't grow and i don't even have need to shave. Just like OP, i have some beard that grows under my chin like a goatee. I wish i had more beard.

I’m not even Japanese. I’m Chinese, and I actually feel that most Japanese can grow more facial hair than Chinese people. Modern Japanese people are the result of intermixing between the indigenous Jomon culture (the Ainu on the northern island of Hokkaido are direct descendants of the Jomon) and the Yayoi culture which was mainly populated by people of Chinese / Korean origin. The Ainu / Jomon are pretty hairy in comparison to most East Asians.
2 weeks?! Give it at least 2 months before you give up.
True, mine looks worse than that at 2 weeks, but by 2-3 months I'll have a full beard.

3 months is best, the more months the better really. plus beards get better over time, grow it longer and longer, I'd say. That's what I do
Yes, patchy area can be covered by other areas that are growing. 2 weeks is too short....
He hasn't the patience for a beard. Its not for everyone.
It's not really about patience it's about not wanting to look like a bum for several months especially if it's patchy and grows uneven.
I'm 50% simular to Kevin, I'm also dead inside but w/o a beard
🤣
I've always wanted to go a real long time (like 4 months) without shaving just to really see the full extent of how much I can't grow a beard, but I'd be too embarrassed to walk around like that in daily life.
If you dont want to be bothered at all with your beard and fix your neckline, cheek hair and all that , dont grow it you re gonna look like a homeless. Beard requires maintenance to look good or else if you dont know much about trimming then just stick to normal beard not very long
