I’m using COVID-19 working from home isolation as a time to attempt a beard growth for the first time - don’t have to worry about people seeing the awkward phase! 😂
I couldn't grow hardly anything until my early 30's. I've had a circle beard since then. Now I am 40 and slowly growing a full beard. Patience is absolutely crucial because some people, like myself, have facial hair that grows really slow. I expect my beard to take six months to a year to fill in. Also, I started using beard oils, wash, and conditioner at the beginning stages of growth rather than wait until there was something more substantial there. Skincare matters.
I think Jack is probably the best edition to the beard brand team. Think about it, everyone who frequently makes videos on the channel is older, Carlos is almost 40, Mahesh is in his 50s as is Berzi ski. All of them have a middle age, or more often than not, Older Wisdom to their advice. And there beards are almost legendary, like unattainable. But then you have Jack, hes young, just out of college, a few years ago he was going through same struggles as everyone watching these videos. You feel like you can trust what he says, not just bc hes a great speaker and experienced beardsman, but also because he was in your shoes not long ago. Struggling his way up. His advice is realistic and relatable. And he's the one that's keeps me tooning in. Keep on Growing Jack.
@@12mannation253don’t give up I’m 38 turning 39 next month and just starting to grow mine and seeing how it’s connected now more than before it’s just going thru the awkward stages which is roughly after 3-4 weeks and maybe more than that tbh

I'm currently on project yeard, but barring some amazing beard happenings over the next 6-7 months, I have my sights set on eventually trying out something akin to the scruffy goat, but with a handlebar mustache. Thanks for the great videos!
My first beard I cut just after 40 days of growing, it seemed like there is no progress. I am now trying for the second time and am currently in the middle of the first month, your commentary on the toughness of the first 30 days combined with the beard you have right now hyped me up substantially.

Patience and persistence is really the biggest advice you can follow. Never went for full 30 days before myself even though mine comes in relatively fast after shaving. I usually quit because I thought this wont lead anywhere or looks stupid. When I kept resisting the urge to shave and cracked week after week it just turned out that my cheeks are only a little slower growing than the rest and not as dense as the rest as well. In the first weeks you notice these kinds of things fast but after giving it time they caught up and I went for full 12 weeks, getting more happy with my beard week after week and learning how it actually grows. Stay strong and resist the urge! Only with some (more) time you´ll learn how your own beard works.

I am and always have been a guy who has no interest in growing a beard. I’m happy with my angular face and high cheekbones and so is my lady friend ;) and I don’t want to hide it underneath facial hair. That being said, I want to thank you for your reasonable input in this video. I see a lot of videos with bearded d-bags who think the sun rises and sets on their faces and who claim that clean-shaven men are less masculine and “wimpy” so to speak. You came across here as respectful and nonjudgmental and I appreciate that. You enjoy your beard, but don’t feel a need to push it on someone else like an unwelcome scripture. Have a good day.
W0RN I tried liquid minoxidil for 3 months. It did work because it brought in new vellus hairs but I still had transition hairs in the upper lip and other regions of my face. Had those from the start. This was last year when I was 20. I quit because I want to wait until I get more terminal hairs to start again. Don’t know when that will be at this point
mio mia Hater alert. Man keep shining bro. The ladies like you, that’s all that matters. Most guys can’t grow a full beard, be proud and sport it homie
Andy Evans Lol I didn’t even have that. I had a mustache and my sideburns and that was it. My beard started coming in at 17 and started coming in full at around 19 😂
Jack, I've been following this channel for a while now and your beard looks fuller and healthier each time you shave and regrow it. Even at 65 years old, I have found that to be the case with my own beard. Beards evolve over time, you just have to keep trying. By the way, having tried nearly all the beard products out there, I have to say that Beardbrand products, although pricey, are the best I've tried. Most beard products smell like pine tar or wet leather. You guys have very nice masculine fragrances in your products. Keep up the good work.
This guy's cool. Best video yet. I tried growing my beard at 27. Nothing. 34. It was OK. Still thin. Honestly I couldn't hardly grow a mustache till I was 25. It was no burt Reynolds. I still adore. But now I'm 41. And it's been almost a month and I'm excited. It's nappy and itchy. But looks good. I'm 41 and a rookie to the beard game. I didn't know there where oils and stuff. I'm excited. Ty for this vid. You talk nice and calm
Started out with chops 🤣 when I was younger I’m 22 now and my beard is on the last step of connecting. Started using beard wash and beard oil which I see more growth. Keep your skin healthy.
This was super helpful, always thought I couldn’t grow a full beard cause it always started out patchy which also made my skin sore and irritated. Definitely gonna give it another try
Very encouraging. For someone who never really was able to grow facial hair, this is my first time ever really giving it a chance. I’m almost 4 weeks in with almost a full goatee with some hair growing in along my jaw lines. Only stragglers on the cheeks right now but really going to give it all a fair chance to grow. You don’t know what you have until you give it time. Thank you for this video.

Had those from the start. This was last year when I was 20. I quit because I want to wait until I get more terminal hairs to start again. Don’t know when that will be at this point
@@Captainshark98 80% of my beard was terminal and transitional too u dont need terminal haird so start minox
You're the type of guy the sun shines on everyday.. Thanks for the video!
Dude. This was the positivity I needed today.
Your right eyebrow is always looking crazy man
His right eyebrow is awesome
I'm 17 and I have a full grown beard and the ladies always like me. Also keep brushing your beard everyday like if it's your hair and it'll grow nice.
mio mia Hater alert. Man keep shining bro. The ladies like you, that’s all that matters. Most guys can’t grow a full beard, be proud and sport it homie
Bro I’m 24. You been growing a Beard since 14? I was struggling to keep my voice from cracking at 14
Jamari Riddick He's been growing that exact beard since he was 14 Lol!
raymond rojas 😂😂😂
Andy Evans Lol I didn’t even have that. I had a mustache and my sideburns and that was it. My beard started coming in at 17 and started coming in full at around 19 😂
Arnold Schwarzenegger Lol it’ll stop eventually bro. Mine did. But it’ll crack every now and then
I'm just trying to grow it out and didn't know this was an actual side of ytube..... I'm glad to be here
The single most encouraging and earnest video on RUclips. Guys I need to take a minute.
How do we get a lightning strike eyebrow?
You go to the barber and tell them to mess your shet up
Say no more fam
Whasisface fall asleep at a party 🤣
Treat your beard as world champion beard ...
hey beard, ready to do some push-ups ?!
"treat your beard like a world champion beard, cause its attached to world champion guy".
I'm not crying, just got a beard in my eye
This guy's cool. Best video yet. I tried growing my beard at 27. Nothing. 34. It was OK. Still thin. Honestly I couldn't hardly grow a mustache till I was 25. It was no burt Reynolds. I still adore. But now I'm 41. And it's been almost a month and I'm excited. It's nappy and itchy. But looks good. I'm 41 and a rookie to the beard game. I didn't know there where oils and stuff. I'm excited. Ty for this vid. You talk nice and calm
The name of this video should be "Words of encouragement and support for the patchy beards of this world"
3:08 A footballer called Van Dijk has got the same facial hair as you've just stated. Coincidence?
Pique>Van Dijk
Klutch Boi origi > messi
whats the points of making productplacements for nike with his left eyebrow
“Treat yourself like you have a world championship beard” noice
I shaved my stubble of every morning for like 2 years now it grows in faster darker and no patches
Started out with chops 🤣 when I was younger I’m 22 now and my beard is on the last step of connecting. Started using beard wash and beard oil which I see more growth. Keep your skin healthy.
His 14 year old beard picture is me in my 30's lol
This was super helpful, always thought I couldn’t grow a full beard cause it always started out patchy which also made my skin sore and irritated. Definitely gonna give it another try
There is one beard I must absolutely have.
The Riker beard. The ultimate one.
You're right eyebrow is looking at me funny.
His right eyebrow looks like a lightning bolt
Had a circular bald spot on my cheek in my 30s. Hair just would not grow. Zero. 10 years later everything filled in and I look like Santa.
Quick, accurate, informative, insightful. The perfect instructional video.
Your literally such a calm speaker it made me sub 😭
Watch in half speed for a drunk Mr Milocco.
It's perfect 😂
It fucking works 😂😂😂😂
You're 24? What the hell.
N O L A N M I L N E S good beard can either add years to your appearance if you’re young and it can add vibrancy and youth to you if you’re an older, ahh the beard... the great equaliser
He looks like a 44 year old man lol
Dammmm 24 More like 34. Fakkkkkk NICE beard man 👊

The line with the world champion guy was epic!
Man I don’t even have a beard but that last part about treating your beard like a world champ beard because it’s on a world champ guy really hit me and gave me a boost of confidence. 😭😭😭
I literally only grow hair under my jawline. Like it goes from the side burns and literally just grows under my chin and right at the line of my jaw. Im 3 weeks in and starting to lose hope 😂
Holy shit. We’re the same age. I thought you were like 35.
Who's up to doing some good ol' fashioned CRISPR this weekend?
I could listen to this guy all day. He could read the instruction or some laws and i still would be excited af.
From one World Champion to another World Champion, have a great day sir!
I can't believe that at 45 I'm typing 'how to grow a beard' into You Tube, but the "awkward stage" has defeated me for 20 years! This time, I'm pushing through, and this video helped! Got a silver chin which I like. I'm about 3 weeks in and feel like a tramp. Bought oil today, so that's a first for me. Sleeping feels weird as I cam feel it against the pillow!
Bro definitely use biotin 10,000 mg
