You should do what you’re comfortable doing. I watch the channel because of the type of people you are. You’re down to earth, honest, and good hearted people. I’d keep watching no matter what you show on the channel.
You guys seem so genuine, honest and nice, the kind of folks that if we lived closer would want to be friends with! You all are the reason we watch your videos, so whatever you want to share with us, we’ll watch. I do think that videoing the ranch house, and you making it the way you like, would be interesting. I lobe adventure related videos and wondered why they all turned negative. This makes sense and it is sad.
I did the seat thing too. Fifteen seconds of terror, the seat went up and forward, the steering wheel came down and the pedals moved back.
Apparently the previous owner was short and slim, I am neither of those things.

I think you should show what your comfortable showing. Show the ranch as much as you can and Alicia and the kids as you’re able. You are in uncertain times I think you should focus on you and your family and making sure you’re OK. I know you’re worried about your channel and your fans but you are what’s important at this point in time.

Thanks for taking your time to answer our questions. I think it is because you are such a positive couple, that I don't care what your videos are on, I am going to watch them. I also think you have the heart of a teacher, and again you are going to learn when you watch your videos. Keep up the great work and I will keep watching! O and some of my favorite videos are when you work on the truck and do repairs or upgrades. I have a superduty myself and I am thinking I need an air-horn!

But I did not stay on your channel and your videos for the RV, I stayed because y’all are Honest down to Earth great people. You are correct your logo PAVING NEW PATHS is just that means going anywhere. Kevin you and Alecia do what makes your Family happy and I will stand by y’all and keep watching. Maybe one day our paths will cross and we will meet but until then keep up the good work.

Love watching the ranch videos. You had a life change, so you should go with that. Paving New Paths literally means doing new things. FAMILY ALWAYS COMES FIRST, so don't listen to the negative nellies.
You do whatever is best for your family. Working on a ranch is a lot of work and fun and rewarding. If you ever make it back out to the Oregon coast, you can always park at our ranch.
It's so weird to me that people are asking why you use your pickup truck, with the 5th wheel hitch attached, at the ranch where you literally have to haul animals using a 5th wheel trailer. LOL
I started watching your channel a while ago and enjoyed your adventures with Alicia and the kids, but as a city girl the life-on-the-ranch videos are also fun to watch and very informative. (Who knew you had to "fluff" hay?) Seeing you working hard on the ranch and interacting with the animals has been great entertainment, but just don't ever underestimate No. 7...I think she secretly likes you.

I follow a mom in Alaska raising her 5 kids…This Alaska Life. Her content is all about living in Alaska and raising her kids…. You’re sort of headed in the same direction, life in Texas…. We’d love that too ! We live in rural PA , life in many places in our beautiful country presents unique gifts and challenges, people do like peeking into corners of this land we’ll never see.

I always have to laugh whenever you get comfortable in your current situation, then life happens…. I really like how you haven’t let the bad things control you, please continue with what makes you happy. As for as we are grandparents, I can say that sometimes it seems like no matter what the house is never big enough for all the commotion that is happening. But I assure you, I know that every moment is greatly enjoyed. Enjoy this life, it is always too short to be not happy.

Your channel and my other favorite subscriptions have this in common: you're true to life. Your videos don't appear scripted, aren't pushing products, and not chasing some elusive algorithm with your content. It's disappointing the lengths you must go to for personal safety, but that's the world we live in now. I think all your high quality viewers get that and would never be offended. Keep up the great content!
Good for yall! I love these ranching videos as well (I grew up in small-town Texas), and having Phil on video is icing on the cake. We are a bit north of Dallas and real estate is very expensive, some houses are going for double of what they were 4 or 5 years ago. Add that with the extremely high interest rates, it makes it difficult for working folk to buy a home.
True here too in Middle TN/Nashville area. It breaks my heart.

Amazing to me that the RV industry as a whole was dumb enough to financially and emotionally hurt their customer base. They took the wind our of your sails with all the stress that they caused you and now the trust is gone. Not only did they lost a lifetime customer, but your bad experience will prevent many others to even try it out. I am 58 now and started my childhood dream of travelling full time only to be turned off by the fact that both my travel trailers (2020 Gulfstream and 2022 ForestRiver) turned out to be lemons. Now I am looking for a Class-a Diesel motor home and will get a 2000-2009 range used one instead of new since I don't want to be financially hurt by the crap that they are selling us now. I can get a pristine example at 15% the cost of a new one which leaves more than enough budget to fix and maintain it. That way I will be able to still enjoy the amazing RV life without the exposure to risk of buying new. Anything new that comes with only a 1 year warranty should be the telling sign to stay clear of it. I will consider new again only when they start offering 5 years of warranty like on a car. Good look for the future and thanks for sharing your experiences. I learned a lot.
Glad you guys are figuring things out and adapting. The RV videos were a great resource for me, (as a first time toy hauler owner) I was running into many of the same issues you were running into, helped me figure out lots of stuff, or at least pointed me in a good direction! It's always nice to get info from someone that is mechanical, hands-on, actually does the stuff, and gives genuine feedback. Too many other channels complain about the problems they have...while waiting for someone else to fix it for them. You have saved me a lot of time, trial, and error! What about taking a field trip to the Farmhouse Fresh Goods rescue ranch? I think that would be great for you guys, fun for the kids and it would help promote their animal rescue efforts.
So I'm just a viewer, and for me, I watch the RV videos for the adventure. I like to see cool places to go and great things to see, however EVERY RVer runs in to problems and I like to see how they handle their situation as well as the fixes that they make. I try to learn from people's mistakes as well. That's my take on viewing RUclips videos

10 feet tall and bulletproof that's what happens when you put a computer with a keyboard in front of some people. Its a shame people act like that. As far as RV's go I dont blame you for not wanting to go full time anymore. There isnt an RV out there built to withstand the punishment they get going down the junk roads in this country. RV's are Repair Vehicles not recreational. I wish you guys the best and I hope you are able to get your RV fixed one of these days

Not everyone could talk to the animals and make their viewers LOL which we do regularly. We respect your family time and don't blame you for not sharing your location specifically. Maybe you could do some videos on Texas stuff? Things to do close to you. Advantages and disadvantages to living or domiciling in Texas. We look forward to your videos. We still love our RV but we are in the retirement stage of life. We are most disappointed that we never had the opportunity to meet you guys on the road. Keep up the vids we will watch no matter the content. If we make it through Texas we will definitely reach out.

I just enjoy whatever you post. I raised my daughters around horses at a university equestrian center in Mississippi so I enjoy the ranching videos very much. My husband enjoys watching you on the ranch and will come sit down to watch whatever you post. He's not one to ask questions about ranching but he asks about your ranch life! First of all Happy Easter hope you and your extended family are having a great day. As you stated Paving New Paths is a perfect title for you and your family. Does not have to be just RVing. But, now you are starting a new path. Our lives are ever changing. That is the adventures of life. Number 1, Family Safety First. Second share whatever you are comfortable sharing. We enjoy whatever your adventures are and videos are great memories you will always cherish and so will the kids as they watch their memories when they are older. People take for granted time. Time is fleeting and the older you get the faster it goes.
