Start with Kibou no Hana, Heartwarming or another easier one, then do one of his original compositions, then pick another based on your personal style. I started with Countryside, and now I'm working on Guren no Yumiya. I have not spent more than a month on any of them. If you pick the right ones, it is actually not that bad.
