- I was irritated by the fact that something with no genuine love or creativity has become so popular so I made my own version for it.
All art is by me. Story concept by me.

I like the idea of these dudes trying to make their kindergarten mascots alive using some sort of DARK MAGIC, it’s interesting and kinda funny to think about (though with pretty bad consequences)
That actually kinda reminds me of the thing I reimagined for their origin point - them being cartoon characters brought to life by children's imagination, probably because the kindergarten was built on top of some profane ritual grounds.

My personal idea is that instead of being a sort of liquid substance, givanium would be a mineral that can produce a substance, which would be able to channel radioactivity, imagination and dark magic all at the same time, and they would use givanium to create the characters

Opila bird ( canon design ) is the silliest but also the scariest thing I’ve ever seen tbh, but he’s still a silly man I love dearly. This is a whole other level
_Idea for the game:_ Make it sort of a deconstruction/satire of mascot horror but still keep that creepy atmosphere from the video, like make it an attempt of people trying to use their kindergarten's mascots for a kids' mascot horror game [AKA Garten of Banban itself] but failing as the mascots become actually scary, and a little girl goes in the kindergarten to rescue her brother after her parents mysteriously go missing, and the ritual to summon the mascots distorts the kindergarten so it's much larger inside than on the outside, making odd puzzles appear.
_PART I_ - The first enemies are Jumbo Josh (who firstly appears in the kitchen) and Opila Bird (in one of the extra rooms, it's a large distorted playground). You walk into the kindergarten and everything looks normal, but it slowly becomes distorted as more strange rooms appear and it becomes larger, the rooms become larger as well while Jumbo Josh tries to kill you by putting his arms through the walls, breaking them. You then meet Opila Bird in the playground and she has the same behavior as in the original game, she stalks you like a predatory bird then chases you.
_PART II_ - The player hears a voice in the intercoms that seems unenthusiastic and normal in the beginning, almost helping them, but slowly becomes distorted and derails into raspy breathing. You are sometimes randomly stalked and chased by Nabnab (who makes sound cues if on the ceiling). You are then choked out by Banban, who says "I need what you have, share it with me" and is very vague/cryptic about his intentions. You then go to an area that's like Stinger Flynn's and see the mangled corpses of Captain Fiddles' brothers and also the skeletons of other children buried in sand. Captain Fiddles then attempts to kill and eat you, with Zolphius as his vessel, but fails. You are stalked and chased by Opila Bird again, but saved by Banbaleena. Banbaleena seems gentle at first, teaching you typical kindergarten lessons about numbers, colors, words and shapes, but reveals her twisted side as she plays twisted kids' games with you and "prepares a special class party to welcome you". As you escape, you see Opila Bird's chicks (which turn out to be dead children from the kindergarten) chirping in hunger, and Opila Bird wants to feed you to them, giving you a mission to feed the chicks with Captain Fiddles' brothers' corpses instead of you. You then face Slow Seline in a scene that's more dread-based than jumpscare-and-terror-based, as you are in a maze filled with water, forcing you to walk as slow as Seline, who is chasing you. You meet a sad Banban in an elevator at a second time, who is still cryptic but clearer, saying "Your brother is buried alive in the abyss, please save me and him from it", before getting chased by Banbaleena and Jumbo Josh.
_PART III_ - The player goes to the ground level and hears Banban's voice and raspy breathing in the intercom, saying "Stay away from me, I'm very hungry". After that, you see a message on the wall saying "THE JELLYFISH HAS THE CHILDREN". You can access a distorted cafeteria from here in which you have to hide from Stinger Flynn as you find out the exit, distracting him by making a mess so he has to clean it up. You then enter a Givanium species hall, go to the aquatic sector and talk to Stinger Flynn, who makes you hallucinate a cartoon version of his original home - the sea - and it's all cute and cartoony until a jellyfish (a pacific sea nettle), in this case Stinger Flynn, is snatched away by humans. You wake up at Toadster's Jail and you are obviously chased by Sheriff Toadster, who tries to eat you. You then go to a distorted medical sector and see papers explaining Nabnab needed a partner, Nabnaleena, and then you make sure Nabnaleena comes to life. Nabnab dances with Nabnaleena, but Stinger Flynn drives the latter mad, making her eat the former's limbs. You have yet another hallucination with a distorted realistic style, being Stinger Flynn being experimented on and being involved in a ritual, thus revealing that Garten of Banban was actually the headquarters for a child trafficking cult. The player then wakes up in a distorted kitchen with Banbaleena and Nabnab, as they have a mission to feed Jumbo Josh, thus they have to make a grilled chicken salad with steamed vegetables, making sure to not get it wrong or run out of time. After that, you are teleported to a distorted classroom with a "multicultural" party (like a class supposed to teach little kids about different cultures and countries), where you have to battle Chamataki and Tamataki, supposed to be to be two Japanese turtle brothers before getting chased by an insane Banban and Stinger Flynn.

And that he can mimic human speech fits the info.
And the lil blue sht thingie is "silly" so it explains that he sort of only eats ppl.
_Stinger Flynn is the scariest one in my opinion, imagine this tall thing floating around you in your kitchen at 3 AM_
Now if the game looked like this, I would actually like it.
I really like how the bird moves in the game though, never seen AI move like that, but I do like your redesigns!
I honestly agree with you. the way the bird stops walking when you turn to look at it is rather creepy, but I believe they still could have done better on the game and attempted to make it good.

the breathing at the end was a nice touch considering banban's info on vocal noise is "raspy breathing" sorry im late! But u did a great job on this lauren. :)

although i don't usually take much interest into what trends, i have watched at least one reaction gameplay for the first part of "garten of banban", and thought that it wasn't truly anything that makes you really scared. the entire idea of it almost felt heavily inspired by poppy playtime, and the fact that it went trending almost mindlessly for fans to play, when it clearly doesn't have any originality or lore that's worth the wait and praise for the audience, it just felt disappointing.
as a fan of the horror genre in general, be it games, movies, shows, one of my favorite themes would usually be analog horror, especially when written properly. it would be exciting to watch even a simple introductory tape or video that lets the audience know what we may be facing in the future, and even if this was only an introduction, this felt like an interesting concept. an actual concept that the audience could look forward to, rather than just being familiar the commonly used storyline: you're dealing with a particular invention/toy that had gone wrong in a place that is abandoned, and you are there to simply investigate or escape.
despite the fact that this video may be an example of what it is, at least you had the creativity and time to put in the subtle details, the warnings in the beginning that make the viewer intrigued, and characteristics of the monsters. it is certainly better than what the game had originally planned (at least the trajectory of the story), and it would definitely catch the attention of other horror game fans.

Now that I watched a playthrough, the only thing thats actually terrifying is the bird and how it stalks its victims before chasing them for the hunt.
And the fact that it looks like a completly normal bird yet has horrifiying eyes makes it even scarier for some reason-

The noise… is terrifying. How did you create it? It’s like white noise, but with a really disturbing mechanical hum. Reminds me of nightmares I had when I was a kid. I would wake up hearing that noise coming from our laundry machine that had jammed..
