    the frame data has inspired me to go out and adopt at my local shelter

    Awesome video, super informative and great to have on while I work. Hope you make more!

    I don't really care what they do to her chase power, but personally i do wish they would revert search to no longer work in chase.
    The reason i want it reverted is because i ALSO want it to no longer have a wind up like it does. When using it for movement it just feels a bit clunky and slow to actually activate imo. It already puts snug on a cooldown and makes chase unable to be used during the duration too. Might as well just keep it for searching and let it actually feel smooth to use at that point imo.

    Yeah I have 100% noticed that it sometimes feels like Snug will teleport through a vault instantly. I hope they revert a lot of the changes, I missed when playing this killer garnered some respect. I would legit get people complimenting my shots.
    Edit after watching the entire thing: Wow, that completely tracks. Sometimes it felt like Snug would instantly hop over a vault and grab a survivor, sometimes it felt like he was just a little bit too slow. Now I know why, he's fucking bugged! That means 0.45 might actually be fairly balanced!

      It was quite the discovery process, the hitbox thing didn't click until I had already finished all of the research, that was a big "oh holy shit" kind of moment

    Earlier on Lerys i sent snug for a grapple and he got pallet stunned out of the map. It was that long l shaped wall in the corner. Pup straight up vanished. I couldnt use him or switch modes or anything for the rest of the match.

      @SHADERSOP  Месяц назад +1

      I've noticed this only seems to happen on lerys, but yeah that's also a thing that can happen lol since the only way to restart the cooldown is to get near Snug.
      If you want another one you can actually recover from, sending Snug out of the window next to the breakable wall on Groaning Storehouse and triggering a redirect normally gets him infinitely stuck in the wire spools until you touch his model from one of the sides. Then he teleports back.

      @SHADERSOP every once in a while he'll get stuck somewhere, especially on Hawkins, and after a while he'll tp back in a giant poof of smoke. You can also see the aura of him glitched out.
      Not after being yeeted to the hospital grounds, though, apparently..... The Entity stole my dog 🤣

    So judging by all this... in theory this was always a bug that happened with hound master. Its just since the faster vault speed physically makes Snug go through the vault faster it made it happen more consistently.

    • @SHADERSOP
      @SHADERSOP  Месяц назад

      Bingo! That's exactly what's happening.

    i love playing as the houndmaster but the short cooldowns and fast vaults makes her easy to play if you can bait survivors

    • @SHADERSOP
      @SHADERSOP  Месяц назад +1

      She's a lot of fun! But yeah I'd love to see this vault bug fixed. I wouldn't mind testing 0.45s without this bug to see how well it actually works, it could be actually kind of clean

    • @Czesnek
      @Czesnek Месяц назад

      Any killer is easy to play if you bait bad survivors. When you learn her counter play then she is very easy to deal with. Killers should not be balanced around bad players who can't learn.

    So, in your vid you say that you alternat hypostasis is that he vaults faster then 0.45sec., but in a normal T-test it takes into account both the positive and negative extremes.
    Thereby in the normal case the alternat hypostasis is that the vaults time is not 0.45sec and we can not say if it is below or above had you taken this into account, I agree that the data looks skewer to the negative, but in statistics this is not good practise to assume this is true.

    • @danielerland841
      @danielerland841 Месяц назад

      So my question is, did you use the normal t-test or the one-tailed test.

    • @SHADERSOP
      @SHADERSOP  Месяц назад

      It's a one-tailed test due to the alternative hypothesis focusing on the frames being less than 54. Two tailed if I'm recalling correctly applies if my alternative hypothesis was if the frames simply didn't equal 54.
      I'm glad someone's finding interest in the hypothesis testing portion of this!! It's very exciting :)!

    • @danielerland841
      @danielerland841 Месяц назад

      I appreciate the clarification and love the dedication to the maths.
      and yes one-tailed is to "prove" if it is below, and two tailed is to "prove" it is either below or above. (prove here is not used correctly, but high probability is more correct)

    • @SHADERSOP
      @SHADERSOP  Месяц назад

      @@danielerland841 Yes exactly! I also agree, high probability is probably the better term to use here. Generally though the full hypothesis only exists to show the likelihood of Snug vaulting on avg faster than expected is very high. Ultimately this test is nearly impossible to do *totally* accurately because there's an infinite number of situations where Snug could vault with the Survivor at different positions, but I did my best to take some of the most common ones from my own and other's experiences and throw them in.
