    4:00 My hometown. #280. When I first moved there in 1964 it was a little farming community of 6,000. But then they built DFW Airport next door.

    Not a big deal, but the American flag is displayed backwards in your thumbnail. When you hang the flag vertically, the blue "union" should still be on the left. It takes two steps in Photoshop to turn the flag, not just a 90 degree rotation. It's just a little mistake, not a dramatic statement, like an upside-down flag. No one has mentioned it for 3 years, and that makes sense. A good thing about America is that no one is required to display the flag or even pledge allegiance to it. If you choose to display it, I think it's worth double checking that you do so with care. Again, not a big deal, just something one random viewer thinks about. And I gave a thumbs-up.

    You should probably do this one over again. But use the latest figure from the census, and use the entire metro population instead just the city proper.

    • @terrycunningham9663
      @terrycunningham9663 2 года назад +2

      I don't understand why people always complain that metropolitan areas aren't used. The title of the video is "...biggest cities in the USA," NOT biggest metros in the USA. If they wanted to do metro areas, then I suspect they would have done metros. Cities (proper) are legitimate political sub divisions of a state. For whatever reason one deems appropriate they can be counted as their own entity. Cities proper have their own independent governments, ordinances, tax rates, police forces and other municipal employees. Why do they have to be combined with other cities proper if the poster doesn't want to convey any particular connection. I have yet to meet someone that says, I'm from the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area or Boston Metropolitan Area. They always name a city proper. That being the case, its perfectly ok to do a video on the population of cities proper.
