I had an accidental cross pollination last year. Thought I was growing some regular pimentos when I planted this year. But it turned out that the peppers I got from the pimento seeds I'd saved made an entirely different pepper! I had been growing some Jay's Peach scorpions next to it in the previous year, so I think they mixed together. The new pepper looks like a pimento, but about twice as large, very hot (a surprise because pimento have no heat), and very sweet! Saving those seeds for sure to grow more of them. :)

Khang Starr, there's this old man in China who managed to cross pollinate a chili pepper with goji berry flower pollen. The result is that he was able to turn a short and stubby chili pepper into a 12 inch long pepper with significantly improved taste and flavor. What he did was to graft the pepper onto a goji berry root stock. Then when the grafted plant develops flower, he'd use the pollen from the goji flower to cross pollinate with the grafted chili pepper flower. When the peppers form on the grafted pepper plant, the pepper fruits reaches 12 inch long with exceptional flavor.
He said that by grafting the pepper onto the goji berry root stock, it makes it easier for the pepper flower to accept the pollen from the goji berry flower to produce a modified pepper fruit. I suppose because the goji berry is a superfood, crossing chili peppers with it would significantly improve the health benefit of the pepper. All this was done without any laboratory GMO manipulations. This method was so extraordinary in the world that it attracted interest from China TV news channels.
See the link below if you're interested in trying to replicate his unprecedented method of cross pollinating between two different species. ruclips.net/video/6E0_E_p4O8Y/видео.html It's all spoken in Mandarin Chinese but you can still understand it just by watching the video. I've also explained the key points to you anyway.

Well, there is a more Flower-Friendly Method of doing cross breading, you just grab a paint brush (thick brush) that hasn't been used and you carefully rub the brush on the flower then you go to the flower which your going to cross bread, and rub the brush on its flower, you do this for 50 times (Yes, sometimes, it takes more time.)
