One thing that you didn't think of is if you are at 3 memory and you have the memory Takato you can then biomerge into the BT13 Gallantmon then swing with the rush to maybe finish the game off as it would gain Rush from the Gallantmon

I didn't know they were just gonna make the 3rd gimmick EX Jogress deck in a row when they announced light fang/night claw typing. I figured Maybe we'd get Glare and a yellow/red Ophanimon and Julia and a Blue/ Purple ChaosGallantmon.
Rather than lightning joust as an option card for the deck, i feel like you can get some great value from playing aus generic since we already raid over stuff. Get to pierce, gets a 2k boost, and costs 0. Not to mention if its hit in security you gain 1 memory and add it to hand.
i tested it cause i thought the same, but it doesnt feel great at all. The problem is you cant use it on your wargrowlmons and 95% of the time you digivolve into Gallantmon with 3 or less memory and use blitz so all the attacks and effects already resolving without you having the time to use aus generics.
I'm pretty keen on using the starter deck WarGrowlmon, since you're guaranteed to be meeting its inheritibale condtion for the extra sec +1. Other than that, Biomerging your Takato, Growlmon, and WarGrowlmon WITHOUT Digivolving into Gallantmon is a pretty nice play if you want to build a stack with a lot of crazy inheritables
I can get on board with everything in this deck list except for the gallantmon X. I cut one for a 4th BT12 gallantmon. Every game, I never feel like I really want the gallantmon X that much. If I’m going for an extra hit or win, I can just use Crimson mode.
BT13 Gallantmon felt redundant in a ChaosGallantmon Deck to me. Like you either wanna run Chaosgallantmon and EX2 Megidramon to play Guilmon and takato or you wanna run BT5 Megidramon to play Bt13 Gallantmon. Might just be me though. Definitely works as a tech because of all the trash you accumulate at least, but BT5 Megidramon and BT13 Gallantmon don't work great with EX4 Chaosgallantmon since it require a card with gallantmon in name and evolution sources.

That aside bt13 is great in chaosgallant and it dosent matter that you need a source for chaosgallatn trash effect to work but that literally dosent matter there. you mostly use chaosgallantmon to clear your board to play bt13 for free and getting an extra check out and if you really want a chaosgallantmon out afterwards you can still evolve into CM and still pop him again.
@@Gorn21 That just makes the top end too heavy and unreliable and by the end of the combo you've popped so many cards off BT13 into crimson that EX4 Chaosgallant is redundant and if you draw into Chaos you've drawn into a garnet if you aren't running like +3. Likewise, Rush Guilmon from ex4 seems to mostly cover the role of game ender in a Chaosgallant deck. BT5 is very flawed and as I said doesn't have any place in a ChaosGallant but it's ability play BT13 for free earlier on and to guarantee trashing is nothing to sneeze at. I'm testing it now and BT5 megi lets you turbo into Crimson mode on top of BT13 Gallant's pops pretty smoothly. Although I'm not gonna act like the strat doesn't have issues because every Gallantmon runs into its own problems somewhere. Although I'd KILL for a retrain of BT5 Megidramon that counted as a ChaosGallantmon at this point I'm ngl. EX2 Megi is great but it doesn't fit every strategy I wanna play.
@@crestfallenhussar895 chaosgallants main purpose is killing your own stacks so taht you will get turn back get the rookie in raising and extend your plays for alot more aggression. my rookies are ex3 ex2 and ex4 nothing else. champions are just ex3 and ex4 with 1 st growl in there level 5 is 4 ex3 2 bt12 and 1 ex4 level 6/7 are 2 bt2 2 bt13 3 ex2 megi 2 ex4 chaosgallant and finally 1 crimson mode yes the list is top heavy but my list is focused soley on trashing and getting access to everything with blackgrowl and analog youth while the main win con is the bt2 gallant since i am able to reach a level 6 in every single turn after my first megidra stack. crimson mode gets some uses from time to time but he is not doing the heavy lifting lastly chaosgallant and ex3 growlmon inherit clear my own board extending my turn with analog and allowing me to play bt13 gallant for free

Is there a video with an overall information on how digimon/bandai rulings work with stuff like this. I used my takato as spell speed two like in yugioh to warp and I don‘t think I could actually do that🤣🤣
Im only using one Takato mem tamer (often times its a dead card); its fine for the most part. The Blitz Takato is still your best bet right, always. Also making the bt12 growlmon x4 helps you cycle for Takato easily if you cant find him. I also removed all other X digimons save for Wargrowlmon X. It helps fasten the game; and with the meta here in Asia you need to move fast. We Dukemon players only need to trip one time.
@@rayallosmith4631 I decreased x guilmon and x growlmon to one of each and x wargrowl to 2. It works much better because I can focus on the deck becoming quicker if dukemon falls. I use bt12 parts, and the st wargrowl.

That's how I felt too. Just felt like an unnecessary step on the way to crimson mode. I tend to run Magidramons but my strategy is more trash reliant.
Been testing mill gallant deck and it's way more efective in controlling and winning the match.
