    Your faux marble is by far the best! I am wondering if you have ever tried a faux soapstone look? I am dying to find a tutorial for my kitchen countertops. Love your videos, I can’t wait to try your products.

    Just completed my countertops using this tutorial. I was nervous because it looked a bit busy, but the second to last step where you mix glaze with base coat softens everything up. I’m thrilled with how it looks.

    So grateful that you uploaded this. I was thinking about trying this on my formica counter tops, but the first tutorial video I watched left me skeptical. This on the other hand, is art. Truely beautiful faux marble. I will be following this tutorial for the project. Your expertise shows.

    • @cappsginny699
      @cappsginny699 2 года назад

      Painting on Formica is not a good idea. It is a form of plastic. Also a countertop will be cleaned often and the marbling will rub off.

      @@cappsginny699 Hence why you finish with a protective coating or resin. For me it is going to be a temporary solution until I have the budget to completely remodel my kitchen.

Never see in the video where you used the Goodman hard to find in the veins? If I want the the same look you showed, should I only use the two...Luxe grey and Graphite ?

    I thought the top glaze was to heavy...covered too much . What I do is lightly brush on top glaze and then I stipple it out so I get a sheer layer on top and shows more of the underneath.

      You could do this technique in a shower, but you would need to finish with a sealer that is made specifically for that constant water exposure so that it can last in that environment.
