I never thought I would be doing anything like this, I was a Metal head in the 80's. Thank you so much for this video, I have all the supplies and four pieces of sheetrock to practice on.... :-)
I have been researching immensely and have watched so many people attempt this technique. Your work is by far the best I’ve seen on RUclips yet. Great job 👍
This is absolutely the most glamorous DIY marble I have ever seen. It is so real!! You are so talented! I will be doing this for sure. Thanks so much for sharing.
Will be trying this next week in my kitchen. I have watched so many how to videos and I have to say that this is the best one I have seen. Straight to the point and detailed instructions. Thank You. Might post pics when I'm done :-)
Martha Stewart started it, but man oh man with RUclips anything is possible who needs a public broadcast station or network! Great like, cuz! Where was the blood orange cosmo recipe you promised us???
Also love the sound of your true "works of art" in the background. Wished for more product information, (softening brush? and "open time?) not to mention the red blood cosmo recipe. Inspired by your fearless technique ... will go to your blog to know what I don't know. Go Mama DaVinci !!!
This is a great video! I have a round table similar in diameter and I was looking to do marbling on it but I was looking for this same type of marbling. all the other videos that I have seen so far were tans and browns and though they are gorgeous, they were not what I wanted. But this is! Thank you!
This looks amazing! I have wanted a marble dresser for so long now and this just gave me the perfect idea :) I can't wait to make a trip to Ikea and soon have my very own unique marble dresser... again thank you so much!
U helped me paint my countertop. Thx. U got the best video on this. I wish u could show us the steps to seal it. Could u do an update on how it's holding up
This is great!! I will do it in a big wall on my kitchen :-) If I first paint the wall with white, do I still need the white glaze? Thank you in advance
It would be awesome if you could do a video on color matching your outlets and switch plates!!! Very well done! You are very talented! It was also real to hear the kids in the background instead of cheesy free music!
Thanks for this. I am going to re-do a cultured marble bathroom vanity and was looking for a more subtle finish than the dark highly contrasted finish techniques that are out there. This will be perfect! Do you know if I can incorporate some of the latex paint (in the color of the bathroom) into the veins? Would latex work alongside the acrylic? I would like to try the Envirotex lite coating.
I am wanting to do this to my counter and backspash so bad, then painr my cabinets. Can't decide on the color cabs though either white or some kind of blue, like a greyish blue.
This is the best marbling art work I have seen on youtube. You really know what you are doing. I am excited to try this on my table and countertops. My question is...when you say use acrylic and polyurethane and acrylic, so it doesn't yellow, what is that exact step. Did you mix them and then brush it on or did you do them separately? Also what kind of acrylic and polyurethane did you use?
Thanks Danika! How did you do the backsplash? I had that same idea but was thinking it would be an uncomfortable position to do this standing on a vertical wall. Did you cover some sort of board and then adhere it to your wall? Thanks!
Hi I have been watching your video over and over again . That is so cleverand beautiful!!! also searching for something else that would work for my kitchen project i am planning to do. I have a question about base coats and top coats. First as a base you did use a Xim primer and than again kiltz? And for ty he top coat you said to put polyurethane with acril. You mix them or put one after another.
Where does one find a softening brush as you use? I have tried at my local arts and craft stores, but my town I so small we don't have a Hobby Lobby or Michael's. None of the places I have tried even knew about such a brush.
Hi! The gray glaze where you mixed cobalt blue and a drop of black, what kind of paints are those?,I will definitely do this on my countertops!,,,thanks
Jocelyn Garrett I have the same question. Are they from a paint can or an actual glaze can? That's the only way I know how to ask. Are they latex, water based or oil based? Would like to know EXACTLY what you used for paint. Thanks!
The best tutorial on marbling I have seen on you tube and I have seen many. Thank you for such an excellent tutorial.
The best faux marble out of the 50 videos I've watched so far :-)
Absolutely the best results in the entire RUclips. Thank you for posting this very helpful video.
I watched some useless videos from other people too!🤣🤣🤣
I never thought I would be doing anything like this, I was a Metal head in the 80's. Thank you so much for this video, I have all the supplies and four pieces of sheetrock to practice on.... :-)

Thank you for your time, I plan to do this on a chest of drawers in a bathroom. I am so excited to try this. Thank you again.
Will be trying this next week in my kitchen. I have watched so many how to videos and I have to say that this is the best one I have seen. Straight to the point and detailed instructions. Thank You. Might post pics when I'm done :-)

WOW! That really looks awesome :D
Thanks! It actually looks pretty good. I added close ups to my original blog post. Its isn't letting me post the link. I will try it separately.
This is great!! I will do it in a big wall on my kitchen :-)
If I first paint the wall with white, do I still need the white glaze? Thank you in advance
Very very helpful. Where's the drink recipe promised?
Simply amazing! I'm thoroughly impressed. How authentic does it look up close?
I like that thin torn cardboard design
It would be awesome if you could do a video on color matching your outlets and switch plates!!! Very well done! You are very talented! It was also real to hear the kids in the background instead of cheesy free music!
I used your technique and my kitchen counter came out wonderful
Thank you.
Really enjoyed the video.
so nice repair!
Great vid! How have your countertops and backsplash held up the last five years?
Excellent work! I would question putting this on countertops, but the technique for walls, columns, etc would be awesome!
Seu trabalho é perfeito . Parabéns

lady, congratulations. you're good and fast.
can this be done on cement?. this turned out beautiful. thanks for taking time to record and share.
Do you think you could do this on a plain cement fireplace mantle to get a marble look to it? Thanks....
This looks so awesome! Seriously, how hard was this to do?
That table looks amazing. You are very talented. Do you do this for money? I'd love to become a customer
Beautiful
Gorgeous
Loving this in 2023.
I love it, what is the product you used to extend the drying time of the glaze?
Hello thank you for the great tutorial. Did you have to lightly sand to Rough up the for formica countertop prior to priming?
Amazing
Did you also thought about using epoxy as a top coat? Thanks for any advice
Can I use everything you used for paint to do my counters?
Would this work on existing counters? The cheap old counters (not sure what material they are made out of)
What type of black paint did u mix in? Acrylic?
Very nice 👍 pls more video
I am wanting to do this to my counter and backspash so bad, then painr my cabinets.
Can't decide on the color cabs though either white or some kind of blue, like a greyish blue.
very nice and very good
did you darken up the lines by mixing the black and light gray together?
Just found your fantastic video but could you please tell me what type of paint you used, did you add water or any glazing liquid ???

Thanks Danika! How did you do the backsplash? I had that same idea but was thinking it would be an uncomfortable position to do this standing on a vertical wall. Did you cover some sort of board and then adhere it to your wall? Thanks!
Excellent!!!Next time give a final coat with Liquid Epoxy..and it will resit long time.
How much drying time do you have to play with the colors?
Que bueno genia!!!!
Can you use a very soft paint brush instead of a softening brush?

Anna G. Its polycrylic
Wow!

BEAUTIFUL
Did the paint on the countertop hold up over time with the heat of cooking and all?
Where does one find a softening brush as you use? I have tried at my local arts and craft stores, but my town I so small we don't have a Hobby Lobby or Michael's. None of the places I have tried even knew about such a brush.
