She releases air bubbles not to find hidden air pockets but to create one with her exhaled air. Her puppy breathes this air, as she "feeds" it with her own air supply

@apocalic Seals have to hunt to provide for their family. As do all carnivores. However, you as a human have a duty to be Kind, Compassionate and Respectful to others and all living beings. Also, look up videos of wild animals saving other beings from harm. It happens a lot in nature. Humans need to relearn what it is to be kind, compassionate and respectful.
You do know there are a lot of good people and bad animals. Don't be pessimistic
