Ok uhm if yall dont know this will it was sonic X story
the part where cosmo knows what she was to do to a black thingy and they have to shoot it with sonic and shadow super mode but tails doesnt want too because he doesnt want to lose cosmo, so when after he shoot with his tears bursting. shadow makes a risky move and couldnt be found and sonic landed to tails saying he has something to say. he give a seed. Tails was so upset because cosmo was gone (Sega : wow nice girl, lets kill it.)
