@@georgetech380 Thanks a lot. I am asking coz there is very little traces of oil leaking out of that one on my wife's yaris. Thus was wondering if its meant to do so or maybe for that one another new bolt is needed to 'fix' the issue
Irdi Mesiti I had the same problems with both top cover bolts ,I had removed them and put gasket sealant and never have problem again ,if you are looking to buy the new parts I am not sure if the new bolt comes with the rubber or not, maybe you need to purchase the 2 bolts and the rubbers
@@georgetech380 Would you advice me to try it out with the gasket sealant on the bolts or better buy new bolts . My worries as well are that its not just the bolt thread damaged but the gasket scrolling path inside, the inside thread
Irdi Mesiti if you suspect the threads have a issue is better you buy 2 new Nuts (forgot to say is 2 Nuts not bolts) and the 2 rubber seals and put a tiny drop of Loctite thread lock on each thread I have look for you the part number from Toyota ,the part number for the Nut is 90176-06028 and for the rubber seal is 11201B 90210-06013 you need to buy 2 each .hope that helps
Japan 100% ....put this engine for first time on the first generation Yaris at 1999 ,and on the second generation at 2006 they upgrade the catalyst and the mapping to past the euro 4 emissions and they kept it until 2009 when the new 1,33 dual VVT-i came out witch is build in France

I have a lot of oil in the spark plugs, why is this happening? Please help 🙏
Is burning oil possibly throuh the valves stems seals.....but if is very high mileage possibly trough piston rings as well

Irdi Mesiti It is from the rocker cover ,if you want to remove it there is 10-12 bolts around the cover and 2 bolts on top
