  • What I have created in the first 5 months of building my own guitar pedals on vero board. I have included the tools I have used during this time. Hope it inspires. It can be very frustrating but very rewarding at the same time. Enjoy.

Definitely will be following through my own process. This is great stuff, and very informative.

You have made a lot of cool stuff in five months it's an inspiration I got enough knowledge to do it I just haven't put my feet in the water and built something yet but I got lots of cool ideas and got a company name picked out just can't motivate myself to just put a damn kit together

Watched a lot of your videos now, and it's really cool seeing someone else documenting this obsession and confirming a lot of things I worked out with trial and error. I have been doing this for about 3 months with extremely basic tools and i really experienced the same beginners bodging and frustration, then finally getting something working... i made korg ms20 filter first with zero skills and had about 5 tries messing it up until i t worked, then browsed tagboard effects for interesting stuff. Im attracted to the glitchy weird things and built the noise swash, guitardammerung, some other lastgasp lab oddities, tone mosaique, pitch pirate, mind warp, shoe pixel, ring mod, a lot of stuff i have had trouble actually using in a band setting! What is the weirdest pedal you have made?

Thanks for the comments - yeah totally get where you’re coming from! You’ll love the next video it is actually of the Noise Swash lol so glad you mentioned it. I made it about a year ago and took ages working out how to use it! Thanks for watching!

did you build the massive standard swash or the 4ms noise swash? I cant find big enough veroboard to do the standard vero layout i saw. Im in china so parts are dirt cheap on the internet here, next day shipping, a pedal costs maybe 3-4 quid to put together, but no love for veroboard! only 26 rows max available. Need to experiement with physically adding rows. Really excited to see what you do with the swash video anyway, ive been a bit stumped with actual applications for it. Keep it up!

@@ballbagger4648 yeah you can get some really dirty guitar vibes with it, some good Lofi stuff. I just made the smaller one. When I put out the vid all the info will be in there

Where do you find the circuit diagrams for these pedals?

I tried The Acapulco Gold 2 times....failed both times. for being a "simple" pedal, that gave me so many problems.

Hey. Have a look at my breadboard video and there is also a walk thru video for veroboard. Let me know if this helps, I am thinking of making another one for this pedal.
