The best thing about this game is that there really is no meta. There is so much variety for what you can build and be effective with. To the extent you can even run mission specific builds if you like farming a mission or activity.
There are certain builds that many people run with, but the beauty is that you have so many options!!
There are Meta builds...yet again, it is not about the arrow, but about the indian.

I made a comeback a few weeks ago. It feels great to be back. I really enjoyed the video. Skill builds are where it's at right now. You can literally cruise through legendary missions...with the right team.
This guy never gives anything away. Very tight when it comes to sharing.

This is the first build I ever put together! Ran with it through all kinds of Heroic content. Very solid. 👍

I run solo/duo legendary with an artillery and decoy...😎
Start with a full skil build with skill haste/DMG rolls and the division world is your oyster, the PCs are easiest to farm in summit (always run mm on legendary as it's the highest drop rolls, and other agents will always drop loot & exotics) get the capacitor and waveform asap, and a test subject, use glass cannon as soon as possible so you learn quickly how to play with it (blind fire is a must for building capacitor stacks) and tech support or shock & awe depending on turret used.
Enjoy, and learn to be an aggressive skill player, nothing ppl hate more in div2 when u hide waaay back doing nothing.

I spent so long just having fun I didn't get into the builds and SHD Watch until the past year. I, currently ranking up my watch in preparation for the upcoming season, and to enjoy the DZ, and this build has started my off with some real affect. I'm running with the Chem Launcher Firestarter and the Assault Drone, as I enjoy the mobility over the stationary turret. Having max skill tier makes that Firestarter devastating and I love it!

Great build. My favorite way to play is via the skills and this is great. I play solo a lot so to have additional help is great.
i use a variation of this build with the TDI pistol that gives +1 tier skill like it was a piece of equipment and technician, and the Cesar's Guard wich kills any need for haste or duration(30% to erase cooldowns on skill kill, the magic of this talent is that once is active it will show the talent's icon wich WILL NOT dissapear until a skill enters in cooldown no matter how long it takes, meaning perpetual skills). doing that i can add an extra red wep damage core and all the extra atributes to critical chance, after that all mods to critical damage and the damage goes beyond the limits, high hits on my test subject or any wep i choose and on my skills are perpetually active. Its a good variation if any1 wanna try it

armor regen over haste if using turret an drone they last plenty long and come back in time for the next room.
This will get me going. Used to run a semi-decent skill build on ps4 but ended up getting a Series S and started to rebuild on it.

I run the same setup with all Yellows and Skill Duration mods on my build. Keeps my Turret and drone up for close to 5 minutes of station time before I gotta reapply them. also, keep in mind that The more Yellow Cores you have the harder your capacitor hits due to it being based on the number of Yellow cores you have total. If youre wanting to lose a Yellow core, I would use the Wave Form and Either go 2 Hana-U or one Wyver/Hana-U OR you can run with Glass Cannon/Tech support combo for the damage and not have to rely on putting yourself out there.
Waveform is a no go for drone and turret, but definitely yes for tech support. I don't mind shooting stuff, but why be required to when tech support does the same thing without that requirement.

If you’re running a red core then give the door kickers knock a shot. It has perfect spark and it compliments the force multiplier with perfect combined arms. They work hand in hand 👍🏾.

This is the build I run for my skill build except I run the Waveform exotic holster instead of the Wyvernwear mask. I tend to prefer the Capacitor as my main weapon because the synergy between the exotics is insane.
Waveform is also really good instead of the skill efficiency from empress internationional holster
I run my protection from elite sometimes. I love tanking the tanks when i got the momento stacks. Red and purple still hit like trains tho🤣😭

Instead of the wyvern piece I use the waveform with turret and drone. The damage is insane. I switch the waveform out when using oxidizer to add more damage

@@TheGamingBrigadeTV I also use tech support instead of combined arms. That way once I've got the first kill I can hide out the way when it's getting a bit heated. The amount of talents that are active at the same time is ridiculous. I think it goes up to about 9 or 10 when firing with the harmony.
Love your builds....do you have a heroic/legendary crowd control build using say the EMP Sticky and maybe blinder and/or demolisher/blinder firefly? Or would you recommend against....this wouldnt be a solo build, but more or a crowd control build for your group, where the DPS would be killing all of the locked down things quickly.

I use the same build but with waveform.and I swap the skill haste to status effect and just use skill haste mods that way you can have both .the scorpion and stinger hive works great without switching builds for the status effect..when ime not using turret,drone, capacitor..great vid sarge.👍

run memento for backpack, emperors guard kneepads, 3 pieces of empress international, 1 piece belstone armory. roll for skill damage and hazard protection (or explosive resistance) add protection from elites mods. run with technician for 6 yellow, 2 blue, 1 red core. at full memento stacks you get 5% armor regen, on 1.1 million armor. 100%+ skill damage, 40%skill efficiency, 36% protection from elites, 40% hazard protection, 30% weapon damage plus bonus armor from momento kills. high damage, high survivability, highly adaptable. I also run overwatch on backpack for groups (12% bonus damage for all allies weapons and skills). you can also swap skill damage for repair skills on support build.

Been running your Waveform version of this build and love it. Only issue is I cannot get a Harmony to drop from named cache's or in the DZ. Seriously holding me back. Running a god rolled Capacitor for now until I get it. Annoying lol
Ive gotten so many from countdown, make sure you enable the rifle targeted loot and play on challenging mode shouldnt be long to get it
Wondering why no set pieces? Do set pieces just not add up to the regular pieces damage buffs? Just coming back to D2 and wanting to know.

% still puzzle me on div 2 as you get % on gear alone, then % on attributes and gear mods add more. The empress i see has 10% 10% 10% for all 3 gear pieces. Does this mean having all 3 in your build gives you 30% extra skill bonus as well as the attributes and gear mod?

Id like to ask about the attributes section. I notice a little white up pointing arrow below each one. On my builds inc weapons and gear, the white arrow is on the left. Ive not been playing div 2 very long. Say if one attribute on a LMG is 15% weapon damage, with the little arrow to the left i assume means do you have 0% weapon damage really, or do u still get the full 15% weapon damage as well as maybe 12.5% damage out of cover. Same applies to skills attributes or armour ones. I hope you understand me
Totally understand what you’re saying. My advice is to look up a video on recalibration and they should explain what those little arrows mean. It Has to do with your highest stat in your recalibration library
I use the TDI KARD Custom on this, so I can still have max tiers and swap out another core piece tier for damage or armor
Remember though, you only get that skill tear on the TDI card when you have a quipped. Otherwise it is not active
I use same biuld but with overwatch and techsupport as my talents permanent 37% skill damage plus with the extra skill damage from the capacitor it's nuts sometimes I like to swap yhe drone for the artificer hive that and the turret makes legendary super easy put them out I can go ha e dinner come back and room is clear lol

Build videos confuse me, I always see people running high end gear instead of gear sets. Are gear sets just not good in this game? Or is high end gear better? The hardware gear set seems perfect for this kind of play style.

@@NoblessObligee after playing the game some more I kind of pieced that together. You're better off running the correct high end gear then gear sets most of the time. Only exception would probably be HF.

Looking at this, could you also use the Murakami Industries set for the 3 pieces? Considering it give you 20% skill duration, 20% repair, 20% skill damage?

Man I really wish the sniper turret would push thru sight lines and material. It's got power but timing and cover stop it from being useful

If you want a LAZY skill build, swap out the Hana U backpack for Acostas go bag. You don't need to shoot every 3 seconds, just throw a grenade every minute for overcharge!

@@TheGamingBrigadeTV it definitely is. that's probably why i've used it for such a long time now. skill haste on all my pieces and i still can not get it below 12 sec cooldown. maybe if i had a ps5 it would be faster :-)
Why we doing this build like is not couple of years old??? One of the best on the game but this been done. Before the change to the Hive and Seekers. I remember having it on 10 second cooldown.
Totally agree. I still get a lot of messages from new abs returning players asking for builds I use frequently. There is no build out there that hasn’t already been done at this point.

Great build, currently putting it together. Was running a Eclipse Protocol Pyro build but having the enemy die to the fire for it to spread felt slow at times.
With this build I can be mobile and not having to worry about the fire getting the killing blow.
