I totally agree with your take on Marianne's concept! I'm still a bit sad she's not wielding Blutgang (maybe we will get it with regular post-ts Marianne?) but I like this take on her 'brave' version, she didn't simply win against her demons, she's owning them! Gatekeeper is 10/10 in everything: concept, art, skills, animation. He really is the winner and i'm now convinced we should introduce at least one meme pick each CYL to make IS come up with this kind of creative stuff.

Marths sword's healing is DURING combat, not after combat, each attack. And with Spurn increasing his Damage Reduction, Distant pressure is a 1000% upgrade to distant counter for Spd based units, and Desperation doesn't work in enemy phase.
@@Missiletainn uhh I thought that if you had in built vantage in your weapon maybe and you used desperation as B skill, then you could give 2 hits before the foe hits you? Does it not work that way?
I’m probably going to wait on the free summon for a while to see if it changes AR. I was considering Marianne for AR galeforce, but she needs to be near people and that’ll be harder if people start putting gatekeeper on AR-D. Definitely agree that he’ll make the biggest splash and I love how his art and attack have the other soldiers too.
Gatekeeper is definitely the most fun and unique at least in the art! I'll probably wait a month too as unlike previous CYLs, there isn't a favorite of mine this time (though Marianne is probably the one I like the most as a character).

Which desperation are you talking about?
