Are you in the same room as them when you take the image or do you leave the room? Isn’t it dangerous to be in the same room while taking the x ray or no because it’s just a foot
Hi I’m from the U.K. on Monday I have a foot X-ray for both feet, when I was in the womb my foot got stuck in my moms rib resulting in me being born luckily on my due date but my left foot was bent inwards towards my right foot since then my third toe on my left foot is curled towards the floor in the last few years my right foot third toes has started to do that too the left one is always sore since it rubs against the floor or shoes. Is there anything I need to know or do beforehand? Also do I need to remove my earrings, nose ring etc? Please can someone respond ASAP thank you!
I’m sorry I didn’t see this before. I’m sure you already had your X-Ray and found out you only have to remove your socks and shoes. I hope things went well!
@@xrayimaginglady2586 Hiya, I had my first x-ray in April of 2022 which I waited 8 months for results that never came so recently I had to go to the doctors to get re referred I have another X-ray in 4 months time to see if I need surgery or not
Thnks
what about the proper kvp and mAs technique?
It can vary from equipment to equipment and patient to patient 55-60 kvp and 2-3.2 mAs on average. Pediatric patients may be even less.
depends on the patient

You go behind a lead wall to take the X-Ray.
What is that red piece?
It is a marker that indicates right from left sides and also has the initials of the technologist who is performing the exam.
