I've always thought that it was because I was just holding my mouth the wrong way as I retrieved my jigs that I wasn't getting any bites. I just bought a new set of smaller profile jigs that I'll be using to test the methods you've described.
Thanks Randy. Recently retired and taken up fishing again. No luck w jigs etc up here in Albany NY area. This video and others from you give me hope that with enough practice I will start catching. I’m trying to mimic local prey/baitfish. When it comes to colors for trailers, right? For example perch colors. Thanks for the great content.
Thanks Randy

I have good success at my place by stroking my jig, especially when it's tough sledding. It draws a lot of reaction bites!
Thanks Randy, hoping it the same way you do the dark sleeper?
It’s been almost all moving baits last month or so, no jig bites
why u throwing a jig on a jerkbait rod? is this a new secret?
