This album is a f*cking masterpiece. From start to finish.
I saw Red Fang live back when Murder the Mountains had just dropped. I had never heard of them before that, but they had everyone in the crowd moving... and they were just the opening band that barely anyone had recognized. They've grown very well, and I'm very excited to see them play again.
Been a fan since I heard "prehistoric dog".

I'm 58 (2024) and while I like the usual old-school suspects- Black Sabbath, Dio, Zeppelin, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and just bits of Metallica and Megadeth, etc, I'm not a big Metal Head (though I've enjoyed Mastodon). I find Red Fang to be a terrific midway point between hard rock and metal. I discovered The Bronx last year and dig them too. Any suggestions for similar bands that might be off my radar?
Finally giving it a whirl into my ears.

I Love the graphics for this Full Album...Mmmmmmm the cross section of the tree is such beautiful artwork and the music that goes with it is Awesome. I was really looking forward to this Album and I am thrilled. This is my go to Album for what I do... and lately I have been painting again after a two-decade dry spell. The paint is wet and I'm happy for a change. I've got my soul back and this is my fuel. Mouahahahahahaaaaaaa.......Thanks again guys, I am really appreciating this. Oh, + my guy likes it too.

I'm a bit different, WAL and MTM are my favorites, the original album had Prehistoric Dog as a standout and the rest of the album's song just never reached that one song's level.
no way. murder is their masterpiece, whales consists lots of really good songs while this album is way darker, there are not catchy songs, this is for longer digestion. yet it is a bit mediocre to me. so far this is their effort I like the less...
Fang was sharper i in a past
I don't know about this one, some parts are great, other parts are lame. I'm trying to like this album because I always stick to old school metal. There is one album that blew me away this year and that album was "Voices" by the band Wormrot!. Amazingly energetic grindcore with good song structure.

anna elvira postma Fucking love Red Fang's classic/stoner rock vibes but I also love the fact they switched it up with weirder sections with odd times and such. This album seems to concentrate more on the weird side so it's right up my alley, check out their 'Murder the Mountains' album if you haven't. Perfect blend of both imo
Chuck Graham, I like a lot of different bands, The Doors, Napalm Death, the Police, Rammstein, Iron Maiden, Bjork, Bathory, the Editors, Tom Petty, Slayer. I like Red fang a little, it's like Mastodon, I liked there debut, but the rest, Ok there were one or two amazing songs per album, but I could never get into the new stuff. If you're a metal fan, red fang just isn't that interesting. I do hear the quality though, I think they are great musicians and at least Red fang tries to make it something special (but it feels like a Mastodon clone)
