After practicing for prop trading via FTMO Free trials this is what i have discovered(1)Instead of opening for instance FOUR 0.20 lots, open ONE 0.80 lot. it makes it a lot easier to manage trades like adjusting stoplosses and TPs and leaves less room for errors. (2) I've also noticed that trading multiple pairs at a time makes it hard to track the floating equity of your account and leads to overexposure dont do it. (3) Don't rush the process. Through hardwork I'm hopefully gonna be like you and get funded this year.

Thank you for taking us on this journey with you. I have failed my funded account but the most important thing I got out of this, is that its best to turn losses into lessons. The requirements for these prop firms will give you a headache.
They actually teach you proper risk management. More than anything, they teach you entries because of the draw down limit. The draw down is the most important thing, not the stop loss. Your stop loss needs to accommodate the max you are willing to allow for draw down. I love prop firm rules, they truly teach you what it means to be a trader. 🫡🫡🫡🫡

Yo Andy the reason they closed your account is because your equity increased then decreased by more than 3% in a day. The violation was relative to your overall equity,not the starting balance.cheers bro

At some point the Drawdown Reached 3k and the time they close all the trades because of Violation the L was 2.9k

You must always take into consideration that, for each an every trade you took, there's commission charged. The 3% rule was violated when we add the commission...And one more last thing, do more research on "what is relative draw down"...It is not what i heard you saying on this video...I am using the prop firm and we have been doing business for a while now. Otherwise, great content. 🐱

There daily limit changes once you lose 3 percent they give you a daily drawdown that close to nothing and you won’t be able to make it up it will be very hard

Wena andile o betere ntwana, I failed one due to a calculation math error on my part,. I didn't confirm proper what time last night's trades closed... In my head I assumed they closed maobane before 12 midnight, kanthi they closed the day I'm in, and I calculated 5% daily drawdown based on gore I assumed it's a new day and I didn't take any trades... Damn!!Lmao, this shit happens man....
they closed your account because your equity breached the limit dude... Hard breach is calculated off of equity, otherwise people would stay in losing trades too long waiting for them to turn around. These guys put you in the LIVE market, not a demo account/market, so their eval is based off the live market as well. They have to protect their capital. Not to mention, once you get funded, you can get rid of your daily drawdown after you make 10% on you account. This firm is solid man.

Just to add here to anybody. With my forex funds you only have to wait a month for your first withdraw on the account, any withdraw after that is bi-weekly meaning you ca withdraw every 2 weeks
