As a new f2p player who is ending chapter 1 of the wuwa I feel the game is unfair to f2p (it is my first time playing open world gacha btw) I feel like my time playing is meaningless because I don't have enough premium currency to do 80 pull I never used them until now just to find out I'm 30ish pulls short but aside from that I'm liking it so far

As a Genshin player I can honestly say that I am having a blast playing WuWa, I only started playing last week and just having fun going around collecting echos and just exploring the world.

If WuWa and Genshin had Launched on the same day, and followed there trajectories up to WuWa 2.0, Genshin would be in the same state as TOF was releasing just after Genshin.
I remember Hoyo never fixing the bug where Genshit crashed within 5-10 seconds of launch on integrated GPUs, I don't remember them fixing it for months lol
Genshin is only as popular as it is because of the pandemic, the pandemic boosted it sky high which is why it can never fall off unless hoyo kills the game themselves

Ignoring the fact that most revenue sources, especially sensortower, just makes the figures up, using revenue as a metric for how good a game is is as smooth brained as it gets. All revenue charts show people is how predatory a gacha game is, the higher the number just means people had to shell out more money to just get the bare minimum of what they wanted from the game. It says nothing about a games quality, popularity or anything else besides how greedy the devs are. The reason WuWa will never beat Hoyo games is simply because players get so much more in WuWa for the same amount of money that they would have spent in Genshin. Besides getting more free stuff overall in WuWa, we also have a guarenteed weapon banner and you can buy 2 dupes of the new 5 star from the shop with currency you earned from pulling. Even whales will spend way less because they only need 4 copies of a 5 star to max out their sequences (again due to the 2 dupes from the shop). Its crazy that people think its a good thing that they're getting milked by Hoyo but we've all seen these peoples posts so we know they're not too bright so....

It's rather how they offer a great experience from things that existed in the past, and make it a new experience. Wuwa did it, in the gacha category. Yes, DMC or Elden ring exist, but not in the gacha world. So they have made an already existing concept their own ! The game is enjoyable and great, improving day by day.
I quit in wuwa 3 weeks in due to boredom so that is a false premise. Wuwa had better gameplay for sure....but the depth of the worldbuilding was as deep as my 5 year olds kiddy pool. Now I hear 2.0 is better, maybe it is, but they already burnt their first impression so I doubt I'll find time to get back to it. I'm looking forward to Ananta. I don't hate WuWa, just wasn't for me. You guys put me off from giving it another shot. I finally tried it on ps (instead of phone like last time). I still like Genshin. I am interested in learning the combat system. Genshin is more of creating a strategy and excecuting it repdeatly. You can customize the difficulty by sacrificing survability or using weaker dps's. Wuthering Waves so far seems more about learning each character and mastering them. Instead of mastering 1. Takes brain processing power I don't have. The enemies are easier than Dark Souls though.

It’s a fact that wuwa is better in terms of listening to their fan base and actually implementing meaningful improvements with each patch. Very generous with rewards as well, and makes it very playable as a F2P. Genshin IMO, has a better story and chemistry between characters. I adore both games, esp genshin since I’ve had alotta memories with friends playing the game. Both clearly have their issues, but comparing genshin (a 5 yr old game) to wuwa (7 month old game) is kinda…insane 😭 as much as I wish I could say I still love genshin, I just can’t because they obv only care abt money and couldn’t care less abt the player base. They’ve shown that time and time again, and hadn’t changed much since, even with the rise in competition with wuwa.

New ps5 player here, kuro really wants me to play. Got carlotta after 30 pulls, then got double weapon pull at 70. 30 pulls later got calcharo and carlotta in same 10. Tonight got another calotta at 12 pity. I bought the battle pass and month currency thing as a small thanks. Enjoying the game so far and looking forward to going to the new area

If you play 2.0 as a F2P you will get Carlotta and possible her weapon with easy, ofc it will make less money. Dude, I pulled Carlotta and her weapon yesterday. I was so excited and having so much fun that I sat my ass down and played through the entire 2.0 story quest across 6 hours straight. Do you want to know the last time I was able to play Genshin for 6 hours straight? Fucking never. Closest I ever came was probably when I pulled Ayato and all of that was just primo grinding.

I don't really understand it. People are like: Genshin has more players.. Yeah i mean Genshin had a Pandamic buff like.. people just grabbed and played it. After investing time and money ofc its hard to let go. Just play whatever the fck you want. I had to stop genshin because after playing games like Tower of Fantasy, Genshin simply was to slow and also easy for me.. I spend money made Raiden C6 and a few other chars up to c4 with weapons. It is actually their strategy. They also pretend to be kuro fans and trying to instigate war to other upcoming gacha games like NTE and Ananta. This update has been the best I've ever played in a long while in ANY game. The story, graphics, music, VAing, and pacing were just absolute perfection. Theres so much to do still, and Rinacita has been the most fun I've had in a gacha game. I've played the genshin update as well, and its not even close to WuWa 2.0, so it just shows which company cares more about their players and the game itself.
Sensor tower only tracks mobile and the majority of wuwa players plays on pc, if you play wuwa on your phone it will literally explode, If sensor tower tracks PC and the newly released ps5 wuwa (which wuwa have been consistently in 2nd place and is doing very good for now) the game will hit top 5 revenue every month.
I've been playing since 2.6 , and I really like to play it but when i saw wuthering waves for the first time i decided to gave a shot and oh man i'm sure that i'm having a blast playing wuwa nowadays. Good gameplay, good graphics, a supreme voice acting it has everything that i wanted. You can call me a kuro bot as many times as you want bc i will not care .

I felt a lot of emotions in this 2.0. I feel their love and hard work kurogames. In making this game by listening to every input from the players, their hard work was extraordinary. I pray that those involved in this game are filled with wonderful days.
I took a break from WuWa since the first time Zhezhi first appeared. (Actually, I got stuck on one of the ascension trials, and basically HSR, Reverse 1999, ZZZ, and mostly Vampire Survivors took over for a while.) Ignoring the fact that most revenue sources, especially sensortower, just makes the figures up, using revenue as a metric for how good a game is is as smooth brained as it gets. All revenue charts show people is how predatory a gacha game is, the higher the number just means people had to shell out more money to just get the bare minimum of what they wanted from the game. It says nothing about a games quality, popularity or anything else besides how greedy the devs are.
The reason WuWa will never beat Hoyo games is simply because players get so much more in WuWa for the same amount of money that they would have spent in Genshin. Besides getting more free stuff overall in WuWa, we also have a guarenteed weapon banner and you can buy 2 dupes of the new 5 star from the shop with currency you earned from pulling. Even whales will spend way less because they only need 4 copies of a 5 star to max out their sequences (again due to the 2 dupes from the shop). Its crazy that people think its a good thing that they're getting milked by Hoyo but we've all seen these peoples posts so we know they're not too bright so....

You guys put me off from giving it another shot. I finally tried it on ps (instead of phone like last time). I still like Genshin. I am interested in learning the combat system. Genshin is more of creating a strategy and excecuting it repdeatly. You can customize the difficulty by sacrificing survability or using weaker dps's. Wuthering Waves so far seems more about learning each character and mastering them. Instead of mastering 1. Takes brain processing power I don't have. The enemies are easier than Dark Souls though.

It’s a fact that wuwa is better in terms of listening to their fan base and actually implementing meaningful improvements with each patch. Very generous with rewards as well, and makes it very playable as a F2P. Genshin IMO, has a better story and chemistry between characters. I adore both games, esp genshin since I’ve had alotta memories with friends playing the game. Both clearly have their issues, but comparing genshin (a 5 yr old game) to wuwa (7 month old game) is kinda…insane 😭 as much as I wish I could say I still love genshin, I just can’t because they obv only care abt money and couldn’t care less abt the player base. They’ve shown that time and time again, and hadn’t changed much since, even with the rise in competition with wuwa.

Dude, I pulled Carlotta and her weapon yesterday. I was so excited and having so much fun that I sat my ass down and played through the entire 2.0 story quest across 6 hours straight. Do you want to know the last time I was able to play Genshin for 6 hours straight? Fucking never. Closest I ever came was probably when I pulled Ayato and all of that was just primo grinding.

I don't really understand it. People are like: Genshin has more players.. Yeah i mean Genshin had a Pandamic buff like.. people just grabbed and played it. After investing time and money ofc its hard to let go. Just play whatever the fck you want. Genshin simply is abit more casual than Wuwa and some people simply cant get arround Wuwa combat and thats fine. I had to stop genshin because after playing games like Tower of Fantasy, Genshin simply was to slow and also easy for me.. I spend money made Raiden C6 and a few other chars up to c4 with weapons. But man i just had to swallow my pride and stop genshin because.. If its not fun anymore and i start getting toxic simply because i do something i dont enjoy.. It was just not worth it.

This update has been the best I've ever played in a long while in ANY game. The story, graphics, music, VAing, and pacing were just absolute perfection. Theres so much to do still, and Rinacita has been the most fun I've had in a gacha game. I've played the genshin update as well, and its not even close to WuWa 2.0, so it just shows which company cares more about their players and the game itself.

what i find funny is the fact that instead of pointing fingers at wuwa, they should point the fingers at mihoyo for showing ZERO intrest in making genshin a good game. the issue is, mihoyo keeps treating genshin like a cash cow, instead of spending resources making the game actually good. its really sad , because genshin is just a shell of what could have otherwise have been. considering the fact that genshin has been out for over 4 years now, and them being ignorant of people wishing for improvements really shows how little shit they give . i played for 3 years, but last year i just couldn't get myself to keep playing . what is even funnier is the fact that hsr and zzz outclasses genshin in every aspect, and those games are made by the same company. wuwa is an amazing game that only is getting better and better, and i guess deep down these people that keep attacking wuwa knows that genshin is left to rot, and the hate the idea that another game company than mihoyo has been able to find somewhat of success with the open world formula as genshin did.
don't get me wrong, as much as i am shitting on genshin, it has a few strong point. story telling and the open world exploration is amazing in genshin, and i do kinda feel like genshin still does it best. but when that is the only strong points after 4 years, it can only take you as far. just seems to me that mihoyo has a strange obssesion with not giving people more beacuse they think that it will take away from the casual approach the game has, and according to them it is because they don't want to induce stress in their players....

i can understand the hate a bit sinced they spend so much time and money in genshin same for me i played genshin sinced 1.2 and its the very first gacha ive ever played but when i saw WuWa trailer,leaks i fell in love with it immediately despite spending years playing genshin i was able to put it down and delete it after downloading WuWa and also i just love being able to wall run and do some parkour shit i dont feel like i have to calculate everytime i have to climb up something
not to mention how Mavuika's trailer is only at 2.2 million views while Carlotta's trailer is at 3.6 million. really important because Mavuika is an ARCHON versus Carlotta who has had maybe 3 months of hyping
I might have started playing Wuwa late but I am really loving the combat, world and characters. There are really great things in it that genshin doesn't have.
