Your right about the dirt and if you don't get the pond down to clay, the ponds will not hold water. Organic soil acts like a sponge and the water percolates though it instead of holding it like clay does. Nice to be doing it yourself instead of having to pay someone else to come in and do it. Saving money as I see it.
How much did you pay for your tractor? Just got a quote on same one for almost 40k and they quoted me about 33k for the nx5010 cab, I'm leaning towards the nx5010 cab because of the price difference, have a 9 acre lot which I have to maintain and hope the nx5010 will be big enough.
Dan Doe if you don't have any super major tasks the 5010 would do just fine. However, the places you will notice the power difference is if you have to pull a large bush hog, do heavy-duty PTO work such as tilling with a large tiller, or pulling a big disc or ripper. Good luck! I think my overall package was like 48k. That included the loader, the 4 in one bucket, the commercial tiller, and a back blade and the tires filled with liquid
Kapper Outdoors Thank you so much for the info, I will be buying the nx5010 with a 6' brush hog, sounds like I should be ok since I only plan to mainly use the brush hog, forklift attachment and loader.
Just be sure to spend the extra $$ on getting the tires loaded with liquid. I also highly recommend a front 4 in 1 bucket, but they are pricey for sure. But you will be amazed just how much you use it. You can still do loader work with it. If you want a larger bucket, DON"T get the super heavy duty one (too much weight), just have the 3 or 4" lip added on the 4 in 1 and it will hold a lot more fill. You'll love it man!
Kapper Outdoors Thank you so much for the info, I've been thinking about the 4 in one bucket, but, they want around 3500 for it and I'm also looking to buy a mall used excavator with a thumb, so I may try to look for a used one.
Hi Kapper, Thank you for your advice on the Kioti Tractor, i ended up with the NX5010 Cab, it just arrived. ruclips.net/video/-8i8W6tMD2s/видео.html Thank you again. Dan
Yeah, we looked at it and i see what you mean. Problem is to save in the next higher format the files go from 35mb per minute of video to 175 per minute! But I will pan much slower from now on! :)
Love the channel, gotta ask, what's your story? Lottery winner and building a dream property? No offense, cause this is exactly what I would be doing if I had or came into a pile of money.
No lottery winnings here man, just a lot of huge loans! We were able to flip a few farms (this all happened on accident-each one was our 'dream property' or a 'temp' arrangement) just to garner up the down payments. The rest is banked owned, but all ours to use, lol

Thank you again. Dan
Oh it IS still the loaner, wow.... Expected delivery date?
They Call Me The Mayor mid February
Can you do a video of your mini excavator going through a water and flooded muds?
wtf you can get a load of dirt for 20 bucks in ontario lol
Wow... man, you can't even get the dirt loaded on a truck for a $20!
I wonder if they will truck it to Southern IL and how much it will cost you. If you could get it for maybe $80.00, it may be worth looking into. :-)
and I wish I had clay at camp.
Just sell one load and buy a decent camera.
Phillip Pearson I film in HD. is the quality not that good. I save in a compressed type format for RUclips.
Yes videos great , i enjoy watching but when you move the camera the picture becomes pixelated.

Kapper Outdoors Right on, man. If you can finance it, you can afford it. Best of luck! Keep the videos coming, really like watching the progression.
