Old world craftsmanship cannot be beat. I have been a seamstress and designer for over 50 years and I recognize and appreciate a wonderful pair of shears. Great job. Thanks for the video. I just bid on a pair of old scallop scissors. I won.
This is a particularly good clip because the scissors factory is so fascinating and Drew's love and appreciate of the opportunities his business offers are so palpable.
ive been using their 8" black sidebents for quite a while now at work ( making carpets ) , just unbelievable the quality of these scissors , if i dropped and broke my ww scissors tomorrow i would gladly buy another pair , bearing in mind i get cheap foreign scissors free at work , cant beat these :)
I could see the molds making a nice living room table. cover them with some clear resin for a smooth surface and attach some beefy legs or chrome formed legs it would look really nice. even some copper aged legs to give it that industrial aged feel.
There's a huge medical scissors factory near my place but the company moved some operations to China to save cost but realized it's a mistake as the workers there doesn't have the flair to shape the metal unlike the boys here who can create many creative works with their hands.

Silvia Terracciano. Actually Smiles going to a Grin! Got my straight jacket on and muffled¥ I've Seriously had to BEHAVE MYSELF ~ you will never realise the restraint and will power it took. Anyway all the Best plus wishing you Well - Cheers
5:12 MADE IN TAIWAN this is sad, this is only a milling factory, the forging comes from Asia and is polished and sharpened here... Is not a true factory :(
75 pounds for a scissor that special and made of this steel quality from the old times is a joke...if you want these special type of scissors made today its mostly about 300..!

I love this show so much. This is an amazing show. By the way, I love antiques.

I have a strange urge to want to buy scissors. Also those shears were a bargain! The quality looks superb..✂️
Considering those scissors, rusty, go for upwards of $150 on eBay.
Probably some of the finest scissors in the world. Amazing.
£75 for mint condition antique Whiteley shears?! What a bargain
Your offer are quite generous. Really like your videos.

Drew is such a know all, he wouldn't let her finish a sentence
But the forging where is made?
I’m a barber, I’d love a pair for my wall.
❤❤❤
Money buys most things, shame these didn't go into a museum and let the public enjoy .... but money rules, sad times
What are "quids?"
A "quid" is £1.00, I don't know why there called that, but it's a slang term for a £ pound
