Where is this shop ?
I worked in the trade for 10 years and met some amazing people.I once visited a shop in Mayfair and it had almost nothing in it, and Egyptian sarcophagus mask in gold and lapis lazuli and two serated lifesized,gilded broze boddhisatva,some oils, a bit of statuary and other odds and ends.I wondered how the bloke made a living until it was pointed out that the pieces were about 300.000 each,so how many sales a year did he need?
He sells plenty. I can confirm it.
