Booker is the man. Multiple time world champ in 3 different promos, Beautiful wife, beautiful family, Hall of famer, respected among his peers. He had a great career
Booker didn't grow up super into wrestling, it was just the only thing that kept him from a life of crime. With that perspective, to make money goofing off, doing skits/promo, while wrestling must've been a dream for Booker T.
@spudgreg Never got there. Slowly but surely watching everything though. Almost at Survivor Series 2008 and the return of Cena. Know a lot that does happen, but don't spoil anything beginning in 2012 for me.
@@brcar6862 oh yea the era of awesomeness was funny asf but Booker T and Goldust were literally putting on skits instead of wrestling some weeks, rather than just insulting the crowds city every week before a match.
Truly one of the best ever. Met him at Gallery Furniture in Houston once just because I knew he would be there. I actually got a firm handshake and a hug from him. Class act.
Book was one of my all time favs back then, especially on SmackDown in the early days. My homies used to call him a jobber and said his stint as King Booker was corny but I thought it was crazy good in terms of acting and charisma. Book is one of the greats!
Oh no ... people hating on a heel character, the horror of it all..... I thought the "King Booker" gimmick was both funny and annoying, the latter making me want to see him lose, aka how it should be.
Booker’s rein as King was epic, and he was named the greatest King of the Ring ever, because he did so much with the role. Who could forget putting that raise pinky in the air? That $hit kills me just thinking about it.🤙
They worked well together but one thing that's overlooked is how great of an in-ring performer Goldust really was. Matching the two made for some great, well worked matches.
he said he thrived when he realized he couldn't be his father. he needed to find his own lane. a helpful tip for men to understand. We can never be our father's. Our greatness in this world will be from waking the road less traveled where we put footprints where none existed before
These two definitely had great chemistry and it showed during these segments. Watching them on tv together was a blast and worth a rewatch if you’re feeling nostalgic!
Booker is someone i never truly appreciated until I got older. Going back and watching any thing he did and listening to how he talks about the business is always awesome.
Booker had SOOOO many classic backstage segments. The bathroom scene with Rikishi where he is trynna brush his teeth meanwhile arikishi is blowing up the toilet, then they have a match vs eachother, Booker gets stink face then throws up all over michael cole😂.... Booker vs Boogieman backstage was good, Booker calling Hulk Hogan the N word😂
I have just been watching this, Raw 2002, and these two were part of some of the most best moments of that time. A+ effort and hilarious. Glad to hear they enjoyed doing it.
Booker T has had a crazy career. I only look at WWE but this man's career is bigger than just his WWE career. WCW Harlem heat nwo TNA king bookah feuds with Austin and Kurt. Man he's a legend.
Booker and Gold Dust together were my favorite memories from watching wrestling groing up. Both legends but man Booker T has got to be my favorite wrestler ever
I wish Booker and Goldie could interact one more time on TV just for the nostalgia. I loved their act back then and it would warm my heart to see them again now
Yo I loved booker T back in the days. Some guys are just a blast to see on camera and with the mic. He was definitely one of them. Always entertaining.
For some reason me being a big fan of smack down and raw wwe in general I like seeing the former wrestler interview, they have some Of the most amazing stories
Booker: "Can you belive they paying us for dis' 😭😭
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I can imagine fans complaining how underutilized Booker was at the time, while Booker T enjoying his quiet days 😂
Man that ish was funny as hell when these episodes happened
Getting paid to have fun.

To this day the 7-11 segment with goldust and booker is still the funniest thing I’ve seen on wwe tv.
If i can have a sip of your slurpie... ill give you... a bite of my weiner 🌭
I hate reality TV but if Goodie and Booker ever had a reality show I would tune in and watch it every night.😂

The Star Wars segment was hilarious.

Booker understands how the business works and that’s why he still has a job and collecting checks

Yup, put that ego aside. A lot of greats heads got too big.

Should have been more Booker T and Gold Dust at the movies.

Booker T and Goldust backstage were some of the funniest segments during the Ruthless Aggression Era.
Booker t is one of the all time greats
Booker T and Goldust, two great athletes with a wild sense of humor
He turned that complement into a life lesson. Respect
"Hulk Hogan, we comin 4 you NYGAAA." One of the best slipups to ever make live television.😂

Don't forget that King Booker was so good that Booker T actually took the full King Booker character, name, and all I believe to TNA Impact.
Oh no ... people hating on a heel character, the horror of it all..... I thought the "King Booker" gimmick was both funny and annoying, the latter making me want to see him lose, aka how it should be.
I loved King Booker. He took a shit gimmick and knocked it out of the park. His English accent was so bad it was good.
Booker’s rein as King was epic, and he was named the greatest King of the Ring ever, because he did so much with the role. Who could forget putting that raise pinky in the air? That $hit kills me just thinking about it.🤙
We was at his best when he won the WCW championship
Booker T could have done stand up comedy if he wanted. 😂
Awesome story teller also.
Favorite skit was the grocery store fight with Stone Cold.
They both were having fun in that fight 😂😂
Booker is one of the greatest wrestling minds we have ever had
They worked well together but one thing that's overlooked is how great of an in-ring performer Goldust really was. Matching the two made for some great, well worked matches.
Well he waa Dustin Rhodes who was a hell of a wrestler
I can never get tired of his voice, such a great man.
Love Booker T growing up back in the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING WCW DAYS
I love it how Booker T refers to gold dust as Goldie
I remember Booker back as far as Harlem Heat. He had a long career.
Did he ever patch things up with Stevie Ray
Their skits were some of the best work in wrestling history to this day
i always loved when the two where onscreen. they were great together.
That afro and point from GD was golden😂😂

Another reason why Booker T has ALWAYS been one of my all-time favorites! Truly a LEGEND.
Goldust was awsome. Dustin Rhodes owned that character and made him flourish
