@@yuniku1489 Nah, you can clear most of the ammo out of a Panther, but in the Tiger II that turret ammo is the ready rack. Maaaybe the only one as easy/easier to hit is late era Soviet tanks with their central ammo carousels.
Fastest and most reliable way. If you shoot the turret side, the shell might only kill the three guys in the turret, leaving two guys in the hull. A 4 second difference in this game can mean the difference between life and death.
Too get revenge CAS, you need plenty of SP (in RB, in SB a lot of people don't seem to do revenge CAS just because a lot of people seem to come exclusively for the tanks anyway. But maybe I am just not seeing it). Either party would probably have enough SP here.
@@GustSergeant Oh yeah definitely harder. Also the lack of mouse aim means lining stuff up is a lot harder. Add to that the complete lack of ally tags and it's a wildly different experience.
All I’ve gotten in my M18 is destroyed tracks and gun barrel, as well as yellow crew. Never died but was often the cause of my death to something else like arty or enemies.
Is that even realistic? I mean come on, if the tank does explode the amour of the tank being exploded should just keep the ammos explosion in side of the damn tank. I have died 2 times like this because I ammo racked Tigers.
As a note, some racked tanks have enough explosive energy to rip off the turret of the vehicle, and send it into the air for a brief amount of time. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack-in-the-box_effect If we assume there is enough energy to rip a turret off a tank, there is likely gonna be enough energy to become a bomb in some circumstances. Especially given, pending on how the damage is done, and lower material strength of German vehicles late war, I could see some potential of shrapnel/bursts through the entry hole. Knocking out an entire tank, I wouldn't say is that likely, but each of those shells require a pretty thick breach to fully contain their energy, in a tight rack that wasn't designed to handle an internal explosion, I see the possibilities.
Alternate: You go behind Tiger, and MG them to get their attention. His teammate 1-shots you from a hill a mile away and Tiger continues on like you were never there.

Playing as a Tank Destroyer, and getting snuck up on, but the enemy shot ricochets or does barely any damage, is the best thing. Just turn around and shoot em in the track. And now that your thicker armour is facing them, they can't do nothin.
Says the USA player :3 (I know it's sarcasm) but yeah when every single players except german players are grinding a certain br for over a decade (mostly 5.3 & 7.3) and we come up fresh in the line with 4.3 & 6.3, we just suffer through dozens of dozens of constant uptier (no low tier what so ever) against modern tanks with 9 defeats in a row cuz they don't queue in with lower br vehicles literally puts tiger 2 against m1abrams

Reminds me of when I was a teir 2 tank player and my freind in teir 4 made me do a MP with them so all the tanks were tier 4 on that jungle map. I was in the English crusader and I saw a hertzer and it saw me I ran around a rock twice causing it to be confused then rammed it into the rock with its gun facing away from me and spent the next 2 mins pummelling it with shells till it eventually died
Nothing beats the experience when you SELECT your crew, squad up with your friend while he is playing in another nation, and when match starts you see your self in your friend's nation's reserve tanks and get top frag in br4
lol or I could see the tiger 2 just reversing pushing the Hell Cat down the Hill and possibly flipping over the Hellcat and then back up down the hill then traversing its turret and one shotting the Hell Cat. As sluggish as the King Tiger can be in the hands of skilled player it be a force to be reckoned with. As much as this was entertaining and a successful flank attack by the Hell Cat player. I know their are just as many failed flank attacks against King Tigers as successful ones. And I find it just as funny to see heavy tanks like King Tiger bully smaller tanks like even bulldozing out of the way or flipping them over then proceeding to seal club them lol.

I have done it sometimes to get a more favorable angle on people because I wasn't sure I would pen and kill them in one shot.
I've done that once to a KV2 when I was in a Strv, no response and when I shot him and it bounced he responded but autoloader 3 seconds and KV2 killed

M6a1 is a little better because the 37mm coax can be used to make them think you already shot. Then you hit them with the 76mm.

Pretty accurate. Tiger II would have just been killed by a tank with ATGMs or Heat-FS faster than Hitler lost the war.
