Breda LRVs has finally returned to service on the L Taraval after 4.5 years of absense due to construction. On 9/28, LRVs on the L Taraval returned, but on 9/30 was the first day they put a few Breda trains onto the L line. I recorded this Breda L train ride from SF Zoo to Castro Station, and it was mainly a fast ride. I recorded on the first car #1508 first then moved to the second car #1510 later on in the video, as more people decided to board the first car, leaving the second car more empty. Announcements were slightly loud, but that is normal. Catching a Breda LRV3 on the L Taraval is usually uncommon on weekdays and more rare on weekends, just like other Muni routes (except T). Bredas trains are likely to retire anytime soon as Muni continues to receive the new Siemens LRV4 trains.
With the L Taraval back means no more scheduled L Taraval buses and scheduled Shuttle trains between W Portal and Embarcadero.
