@@CozyRC With 2 5692 motors and a gear box... all carbon fiber hull, molded, no wood ribs, ( all carbon molded too ) and maybe a trimable rudder and tabs with servos... Possible!
@NoMatterDesign Yes, possible for sure! Although I would keep it more simple: no gear box and no servo trims 😉. I do like the technique behind it, but for a purpose SAW boat, less (parts) is more!
@CozyRC Agreed. But I had a German Design teacher. I guess the "over engineering" as a process is engrained. When it doesn't work, then I start reducing parts 😆
Me too, James! Especially since they're still setup above the water line. They might add a little resistance, but now I'm able to run long full throttle straight passes ✌️
Its running great! Also looks to turn well also. Hopefully my twin will run as good as this one does! Got unfortunately no time to build at moment but hope to get on with in a couple off weeks... This is a good start to go even faster for sure.
Thanks Peter. It turns ok with the small turn fins. It turns great with big turn fins! I will make a video on that, later. How about your twin build? Is it the re-build of your twin mono, or a new one?
Maybe a little more space, but max 100m. I hope to run on bigger ponds again soon! The 115km/h speed record with these props is about to get beat, soon 😎
Great speed. You are also a good pilot.
Thank you Phil! I do my best 😎
Tabs definitely helped, super smooth runs.. good call. BG4L
Tanks BigB! Yes they make a huge difference. Didn't expect that! I will install a motor upgrade next ✌️
Amazing machine, very nice work.
Thanks Peter, I appreciate it!
Brother she looks gorgeous on the water ❤😎👍
Thank you, Juniorwest ✌️
Can't wait for the video with the title: 150kph! Great runs! Cheers
You set the goal pretty high 😅. Who knows.. maybe the next SAW dedicated build?

Beautiful boat. 😍
Thank you, I appreciate it!
I was waiting for that video and I knew that it will run awesome... God's job Jan👍
Thanks Dim, I'm so glad I sorted it out! Now there's no obstacle anymore to upgrade to the high rpm setup ✌️
Nice edition! I think now you can go for your speed record and i hope you get it!
Thank you, I will definitely try that soon!
Awesome job, I actually am surprised that’s all it took. I might put bigger trim tabs on my DF 33 now.

@@CozyRC old hpr 010 which i striped out.
@@peteroosterhoff8850That's a nice hull!
@@CozyRC lets hope i'll get it to work. From what i read about it, its a bit a haslle too set it up right. But in worst case i'll make it a single...
Add a small speaker that plays back outboard motor sounds :)
That needs to be a pretty loud speaker, to overcome the actual twin electric motor and prop sound 😉
@@CozyRC Real 2W RPM is pretty shouty
Awesome 👍
Thanks for watching!
Mantap ❤
Thank you! 😎
+110 km/h in 50m that is scary 😮

@@CozyRC 100m to acceleration and deceleration believe me whit that you need more space to stop ,you all time record will fall very soon😁
@@daiciuapostol79 The benefit of dual props: more resistance when you let off the throttle, and shorter deceleration 😅
