You always choose the most beautiful but also useful items. The clothing pieces were lovely - natural materials are always the best choice. Like your mum, I also have a love of coffee - I don’t think I could get through the morning without a cup 😀. Beautiful colour nail polish btw!

Love the look of the jumper - the pairing with the skirt is gorgeous. The candles set will be a present to me - love the selection you shared. I got a beautiful concertina card at Persephone which has drawings of the shop itself. Didn’t notice the other ones as the one you shared here. The shooting party’s gone on my list. The LILYSILK items look lovely and such good quality, the robin stationery set is just gorgeous, the amarillus bulb is a wonderful suggestion for a gift; in fact, there was nothing I didn't like in this December gift video. How lovely that you have even thought of poor coffee - deprived Donna with the ceramic drip filter and cup!

I can truly feel the longing and the joy your mother has been having for coffee! I can't imagine how she's made it so long. That said, when I lived in Glasgow, for many of my friends a coffee at home meant Nescafe. Some friends did a french press. When I left my most coffee-loving friends were given my electric drip coffee maker. As most of my Scottish friends wouldn't want to live without a kettle, most yanks wouldn't want to go without their coffee tools. Now, of course, I too must have a cordless electric kettle for a proper tea! I wonder what coffee beans your mother will choose for her coffee?

Another wonderful list of recommendations, Miranda. You have impeccable taste, as always. I have been super organised this year and bought all my Christmas gifts for friends and family but just had to treat myself to one or two of these lovely items (namely the sweater you are wearing and the 3 candle set). I am so glad you have discovered and enjoy the Cottage Fairy channel as much as I do … do check out the channel of Swedish RUclipsr “Jonna Jinton” too. Her videos (especially the ones in winter) are exquisite and touch the soul. It’s been very cold all over England in the last week so I hope you and Donna are staying warm and safe. ❤❄️

This is a lovely curated list of Christmas gift ideas! I find the Hatchards edition of "The Shooting Party" particularly tempting especially since its been on my reading list. You have brought my attention to Liberty diaries and I feel I may forgo my trusted Smythson in favor of that beautiful peacock edition. The addition of poetry sounds so uplifting. I also enjoyed the items of Lilysilk. That blue blouse is stunning! Thank you for this video as we get ready to bunker down for a blizzard here in Ontario. xxx

Miranda, Another delightful video. Your outfits were stunning and I must admit that I am quite envious of your vintage Chanel jacket. I can relate to Donna's coffee craving. I had my favorite little cafes in Philly where I could just pop in for a great cup of coffee and a sweet treat. It was one of the things I missed the most when I moved back to LI. This time of year I miss not being able to just walk a few blocks to see The Nutcracker and listen to The Messiah.
