Looked a nice stopping point on Buttertubs despite the wind outside cozy in the van (then you got cracking haha) Ribblehead is lovely isn’t it. Great you saw the steam train, it’s the diesel ones we’ve seen, it’s amazing engineering the viaduct. Looks a lovely pub stop and you can’t beat watching the sun go down with your favourite drink can you. Lovely trip and was fantastic to have caught up earlier in the trip too! So you finished where you started, that VW camper a permanent fixture eh😂😂 Some fab big skies this week and memories from my childhood like the yellow Mk11 Chopper and the Flying Scotsman which I last saw in the late 70's at Rainhill on it's way to Liverpool. Cheers K.

Hi Em. Thanks. Yes we were lucky seeing the Royal Scotsman. We booked the pub as it gets very popular ( we did notice that they allowed a few campers outside the gated area too. So they may allow a few more at a pinch if you are caught out but I would book). Merry Christmas to you three 🐶🎄❤️
🤣 It sounds like something Spock would do on the Enterprise as well. It’s bloomin’ loud and Merlin usually decides to do it when we are recording! ( never work with animals children or campervans!)
