Now that’s what I call precision taste in the bacon sauce department! 👌🏼😉. The book is excellent. ( haven’t finished it yet though) Michael Greger is great for bringing all the available science on a healthy way of living together. It’s very detailed! You should be aware that he follows a plant based diet, so there could be a degree of bias there( possibly) . But some compelling arguments about avoiding UPFs and some excellent information none the less. 👍😊❤️

Lovely video. Such beautiful scenery! Just wondering if you’ve had the vet check little Jazz over? Maybe her sight or something a bit neurological is going on? (We’ve experienced similar with our last lovely doggie). We wondered if she settle if she was next to Ellie and the wall on the bed I wonder? A little corner ‘den’ space might give extra security and enable some extra minutes of much needed sleep! I’m sure you’ve tried all sorts so hope you don’t mind our suggestions. We really empathise with the sleep deprivation. Much as you love your doggies it is hard when they’re unsettled like that isn’t it? Bless her ❤️. Hi Anna. Thanks for your lovely comment ❤️. What you say makes a lot of sense. We’ve tried Jazzy on the bed but she doesn’t seem to like it ( possibly because of Maya - though Maya would share) she tries to jump off. Trouble is, she’s a little minx and climbs on high things like the dashboard and slippery table if we let her, and I’m terrified she could fall and hurt herself. So we keep her where we know she will be safe. She’s been very poorly this week ( she has pancreatitis) so has been to the vet and is on medicine love her. She’s picking up now thank goodness, but we were so worried about her earlier in the week. She’s such a little sweetheart. The vet knows Jazz pretty well as we’ve had to sort out lots of health issues since we’ve had her. He thinks she’s doing ok for her age. 14/15 ish. Though she’s pretty deaf! take care ❤️👍😊
@@Wizardinthewildoh bless her heart. Pancreatitis is really really nasty isn’t it? I think she’s absolutely amazing especially for an older pooch💕 She’s so full of beans on your videos we can quite imagine her getting herself into slippery places like the dashboard etc and can understand why you need to limit where she can go. We ended up with my being attached to our little girl practically 24/7 by a harness and lead (she had canine dementia). It was heartbreaking to see our amazing intelligent girl struggling but we found ways of adapting. She couldn’t find her way around at all and would become distressed at times if she couldn’t see us so that worked for both of us at the time…we took to have a nightlight on during the night as she got to a point where she could get upset in the dark. That way she could always see us (in the van and at home). It can be so tough when they get older but you’re clearly devoted parents and are doing a wonderful job with all three girls. (Not that health issues are restricted to older ages-our little six year old is recovering from a disc extrusion back in March and we are having to stop her from leaping on and off of sofas/beds etc to recover). Your girls have a great life out and about on your travels (Sasha always gets me up early when we’re in our van-I think she realises she’s somewhere interesting and wants to explore earlier and earlier each day we are away so I’ve been known to be walking around fields in my pj’s at unearthly hours in the cold wind trying to appreciate the sunrise!!!) I’m sure Jazz knows how loved she is and it was great to see her rolling about happily on the grass! We really hope you all have a much better week ahead and that Jazz doesn’t suffer any more bouts of such a distressing illness. Thinking of you.

She settles well on the seat at night as a rule as long as she knows exactly where I am. We have tried her on the bed with us but she’s not keen and jumps off ( probably because Maya is there) She climbs everywhere including on the slippery table and we are terrified she will slip off and break her legs or something. She doesn’t have the sense not to do this as she’s never been trained. Bless her. She does do so well considering. We are not being mean keeping her in a safe position on the seat as we do. It’s for her own protection. We love her to bits and want to keep her safe. It’s nothing to do with not wanting her with us on the bed. 😊❤️👍

Hi Anna. Thanks for your lovely comment ❤️. What you say makes a lot of sense. We’ve tried Jazzy on the bed but she doesn’t seem to like it ( possibly because of Maya - though Maya would share) she tries to jump off. Trouble is, she’s a little minx and climbs on high things like the dashboard and slippery table if we let her, and I’m terrified she could fall and hurt herself. So we keep her where we know she will be safe. She’s been very poorly this week ( she has pancreatitis) so has been to the vet and is on medicine love her. She’s picking up now thank goodness, but we were so worried about her earlier in the week. She’s such a little sweetheart. The vet knows Jazz pretty well as we’ve had to sort out lots of health issues since we’ve had her. He thinks she’s doing ok for her age. 14/15 ish. Though she’s pretty deaf! take care ❤️👍😊
@@Wizardinthewildoh bless her heart. Pancreatitis is really really nasty isn’t it? I think she’s absolutely amazing especially for an older pooch💕 She’s so full of beans on your videos we can quite imagine her getting herself into slippery places like the dashboard etc and can understand why you need to limit where she can go. We ended up with my being attached to our little girl practically 24/7 by a harness and lead (she had canine dementia). It was heartbreaking to see our amazing intelligent girl struggling but we found ways of adapting. She couldn’t find her way around at all and would become distressed at times if she couldn’t see us so that worked for both of us at the time…we took to have a nightlight on during the night as she got to a point where she could get upset in the dark. That way she could always see us (in the van and at home). It can be so tough when they get older but you’re clearly devoted parents and are doing a wonderful job with all three girls. (Not that health issues are restricted to older ages-our little six year old is recovering from a disc extrusion back in March and we are having to stop her from leaping on and off of sofas/beds etc to recover). Your girls have a great life out and about on your travels (Sasha always gets me up early when we’re in our van-I think she realises she’s somewhere interesting and wants to explore earlier and earlier each day we are away so I’ve been known to be walking around fields in my pj’s at unearthly hours in the cold wind trying to appreciate the sunrise!!!)
I’m sure Jazz knows how loved she is and it was great to see her rolling about happily on the grass! We really hope you all have a much better week ahead and that Jazz doesn’t suffer any more bouts of such a distressing illness. Thinking of you.
@@Anna-ib3xb thank you for your lovely kind message. Jazz says “thank you” too ❤️🐶. They are our babies aren’t they? I have missed the passing of our previous 🐶🐶 more than I miss some people🤣! Their love knows no bounds and holds no grudges. Sasha sounds so lovely. Hope she’s doing well after her op. She is a lucky girl who has lovely pet parents to take care of her. ❤️👍😊

I'll take a bet that Jazz wants to be on the bed with them, I've not seen her on the bed with them all, she's always on her own on the chair 😢 😢
Hi Julie. Jazz has real separation anxiety if I’m not around ( Ellie) I think she knows she’s very much loved now and is very scared to let us out of her sight. She settles well on the seat at night as a rule as long as she knows exactly where I am. We have tried her on the bed with us but she’s not keen and jumps off ( probably because Maya is there) She climbs everywhere including on the slippery table and we are terrified she will slip off and break her legs or something. She doesn’t have the sense not to do this as she’s never been trained. Bless her. She does do so well considering. We are not being mean keeping her in a safe position on the seat as we do. It’s for her own protection. We love her to bits and want to keep her safe. It’s nothing to do with not wanting her with us on the bed. 😊❤️👍
